Sean is a senior at Harvard College where he studies psychology and education. In the classroom, he studies how an increased understanding of free will may impact attributions of responsibility and in turn criminal law in the future. Outside of studying, Sean loves to cook, swim, and watch basketball (Go Celtics!). Originally an LSAT hater, Sean grew to surprisingly enjoy taking the test, and decided to start tutoring because he missed working through some of its fun problems! Beginning with a diagnostic in the 150s, about 6 months of studying brought his score up by 20 points. He believes that with the right strategy anyone can score in the 170s, and is excited wait to work with you to achieve the LSAT score we know you can!

Hey! I would definitely recommend checking out the "Reading Comprehension" section of our core curriculum — it will really break down all of the passage types and provide the best approaches to reading critically. Really RC all comes down to the way you approach the passage and questions, and we have spent a lot of time refining the best approaches to the distinct question types and creating low-res summaries that help read the passage critically. I personally found RC to be the hardest section to master when I was studying, and the low-res summary approach I learned from 7Sage was crucial in driving my score increase. I'd love to connect with you further about how our tutors could help support you in rocking the RC section, feel free to sign up for a free consultation here!

Hey! This is a completely normal situation to find yourself in, and one that our tutors help students with all of the time! Our tutors will diagnose specifically which questions are driving the most point loss, to help you content-wise on this end. But it sounds like, as you identified, working on timing and stamina will be integral to driving you to your goal score. We can recommend a variety of drills with proven efficiency to help you get closer to this blind review score — we work with many students in similar situations, and have some different specific approaches to help build this stamina and get you over the bar to the 170s. I personally found myself in a similar situation, where my PTs were consistently around 163-165 and with about a month and a half of 7Sage-recommended studying got my score up into the 170s. When I work with students, one of my favorite session types to do is a mix of 'curvebreaker' questions for the highest priority question types to point out patterns we see frequently lead to students choosing trap answers. I'd love to chat with you further about whether a 7Sage tutoring program can best help you meet your goals, feel free to sign up for a complimentary call here!

Hello! Conditionals are definitely a skill that many students cite as difficult when LSAT prepping, but I also see them as one of the most learnable parts of the LSAT! I would definitely recommend checking out the "Conditional and Set Logic" module under the "Fundamentals" section of our core curriculum. It will give you a strong foundation for the different conditional indicator words and show you strategies for using diagramming to help simplify the conditional process. I personally work with students a ton on conditionals and enjoy breaking down the complex ideas to much more manageable pieces of information that you feel confident applying. Our coaching-style tutoring method can help guide you through building these skills that will translate to real point gains on your test. Our vetted tutors will also create groups of recommended drills and help guide you through PT timing to ensure you are consistently making progress in a style that fits into your schedule, while also examining your analytics and building a study plan designed to maximize your score gains. If you may be interested in working with a 7Sage tutor, we'd love to connect with you over a free consultation! Let me know if you have any more specific questions and I'd be happy to answer them for you.
