Hi Arianna, I like to split my board games up front to make it easier for myself. Since there were are only 3Gs and 2H, I immediately think what can force us to fill out most of the game board? Putting S in 4 will force O in 5.
The set up would be a two layer sequence game. One for auditorium and the other for birds
Inferences
S could be in 2-4 (Not in 1 because S is in H hall and not in 5 because O follows behind S)
T can be in 1-4 (not in 5 because P follows behind T).
P could be 2, 3, or 5 (cant be in one because T is before P and can’t be 4 because P must be in G hall).
For one board game, we could do
1 2 3 4 5
hall. G G/H G/H H G/H
Birds. R T P S. O
Game board 2 (use inferences above). Wouldn’t write anything in as it’d be too much work. Go through the rules. To me, this is how I solve. Someone might have a faster way but this works for me (:
1 2 3 4 5
hall. G G/H G/H H G/H
Birds.
Remember only 3G & 2Hs^
Hello everyone,
If you’re waiting to hear back from other schools, how do you go about seat deposits?
I know I can’t rush a school’s decision, so would I just put a seat deposit down until I hear back from the other schools?
In-Person. I thoroughly enjoyed my experienced and didn't have to worry about a proctor popping in every so often, lol. Less room for test issues to occur in person. It's ultimately up to you based on your comfort.
@andaiyehall121 Hi, what’s your best section and what’s your worst section?
@ivanlewandowski1204 my issue is timing also (across all sections), which is why I need the pointers. Since LG is my better section, I’m sure getting to finish all 4 games would drastically increase my score.
What I’ve come to realize is at times, I’m writing out too much of my work when solving
Example, writing a 3-4 game boards to solve a question. That’s easier for me to visually see it, but sometimes more boardgames is a time waste. Trying to find a medium.
I’ve definitely learned when it comes to MBT questions, skip them. The other questions on the LG tend to help you on the MBT questions. That’s how you can save time there.
What’s do you typically score on games (point wise)?
Hey, I just sent you a private message
Thank you for sharing this. I just went from a 138 to 143 and I’m trying to shoot for 150 range. This is totally encouraging
I would only take the January if you’re working a PT/no job at all. It might be difficult to jump 10 points within just one month. Not impossible though.
I’m retaking for February and I got a 143.
Definitely keep the 150. In struggling to break to 150 but I’m almost there.
On the bright side, give it another shot and remember, you can always apply to a law school with that’s score. But shoot for your dream school! You got it!
I’m interested
Hello,
I am currently looking for someone who can study with me and to also provide me with tips to get my section timing better. Just got my score back from November and I’m thinking I should retake as I feel I can get a few more points. I sit in the 140 range.
Currently, logic games is my best section and reading comp is my worst section.
We can zoom and I’d totally be willing to help you where needed.
hmm, I would not say that. He's pretty great. Before this course, my logic reasoning understanding sucked. Now I look at answer choices and eliminate right away based on different criteria.
You'll be a great attorney one day!
Thank you so much for this explanation! I was able to eliminate B,C and E but was stuck between B and D. Your reasoning for B explains quite clearly why D is right. It's easy to get trapped by words such as "fully effective" vs "effective". Must pay attention. The LSAT banks on that attention to detail :D
When answering MSS questions, you don't want to choose an answer choice with strong language and/or language that doesn't match the stimulus. "Should" is too strong and the stimulus also doesn't support AC A.
Hi,
If you're worried about the paper, you could print double sided OR start with 2-3 prints first and then if you see you're still not getting the game, then print more.
Most people can see what games they're struggling with right away so I'd definitely print those pages out and make it worth your while. Maybe use JY's fool proof method and tweak it to your standards. If it helps you answer the questions in the time constraints, then you're good to go.
Take it when you’re ready! I learned this the hard way. I retook my test when I wasn’t ready and didn’t score as well, due to outside influences pressuring me.
This time around…no way. I’m taking it when I feel ready and if that means me taking longer, so be it. This test is not a race to the finish line, it’s a test of endurance.
It is literally so commendable that you had so much going on and still scored high. That’s what I always tell myself. If others can do it, so can I. If you want it, you’ll go get it!
As someone who also works (9-5 specifically), I’ve learned to study most on the weekends because ai have those days off. M-Fr, I study maybe 1-3 hours per day. On my lunch, when I’m not busy at work, etc. if that’s not an option for you, you’re free to study in the morning prior to work. Just go to bed early and wake up earlier. The other option is studying after work which I personally don’t recommend unless you take a nap beforehand or are fully focused. Many times I’m tired after work, so that’s not the best time for me to study.
I do NOT recommend doing practice tests right now. Study the core material first. Trust me. As someone who has used 3-4 diff prep materials, I can say 7sage is the best. J.Y.S course is set up in a way to help you score high. I used to use 7sage for video explanations before it became a paid course included in one. The lessons help you build a foundation for the test. If you don’t understand the fundamentals, you cannot accurate take PTs and hope to do well.
After doing the course and taking the PTs, see what you understand and don’t then go back into the course and drill that question type.
All the best
Congratulations to you and thank you for thoroughly explaining what you did.
@prestonbigley759 You're right and less room for error, in terms of bubbling, when taking the digital vs paper test. Personally, I've always been a paper and pencil kind of person, but all tests are seemingly moving digital now. I'm slowly starting to come around to liking the digital format
Hi, I believe it means your application will go under review twice for this school.
