I chose E during the first round, as well as the blind review round of taking the quiz. I do understand why E is correct and not supported through the stimulus, however, I do not understand the thought process of how B is the correct answer. Can someone explain the logic behind the risen water levels?
could it be that, in order for the water to fall onto the S. and for it forms mineral, it must have originally not been submerged under the water (because then how would the waterfall onto it, causing it to form minerals). therefore, right now, since the S is underwater, it means sea levels rose, and now are higher than OG.
Hi guys,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm looking for a single study buddy/accountability partner. I work full time, PST, I'm looking for a study buddy in the same time zone, with somewhat of a similar work/study schedule.
I am scoring in the mid to high 60's. Will be happy with a high 60, but the target is 70+.
Will be taking the exam in August.
DM me if you're interested.
If we were villains- now please add me
Interested
interested. :) Studying towards June2022//goal score170+.
Hi I'm interested. Aiming for September LSAT. Would love to get as close to 170 as possible. IF you are interested, please message me.
#Help What do you mean by "new data that consistent with hypothesis" in the wrong answer traps?
This question is not well thought out!
Hi guys, I'm a UCLA alum, 23, looking for a study buddy/buddies in Socal. I'm scoring 155-163, looking to increase my score to high 160s. Ive been studying on and off for a few months now, and I've got the base down pretty well. Will most likely take the LSAT in a few months.
I want to have a buddy so that we can hold one another accountable.
DM me if you're interested.
I consistently score -2 to 0 mistakes on LG.
Don't do timed sections. Start with easier questions. Untimed. Read the stem, rules, then write down the rules, then reread the questions rules and double check with the way you "translated" them.
Then think whether you need to or can make scenarios. If you can, decide how you want to split the game board.
There are inferences that you need to catch BEFORE you go to the questions.
All the hard work MUST happen before you go to the questions. At least for games 2, 3, and 4.
Once you've built your scenarios, or a solid diagram and fully understand how each rule plays with the other ones, then you're ready to go to the questions.
If there's a single aspect of the game that you don't understand, stop. Think about it and if you still don't get it, go back to the lesson or look it up online and understand what it means and what you should do with it before you go to the questions.
As a practice, I would say just look at the question stems and the rules and make diagrams and skip the questions. Then double-check the diagram/scenarios you got with what BluePrint suggests.
There will always be inferences that you miss. Once you start to catch these, it's piece of cake.
#Help I don't understand why AC A is correct.
the conflict is that less than half of those surveyed believe that he is guilty. Yet 52% of the same group surveyed think that he has good/great performance. Conflict is how come some of the people that think he is guilty, also believe that he has good/great performance. and this is no lower than before the news came out.
AC A: people who think he is guilty (almost half surveyed) already believed that he does a poor job.
How does that explain the conflict????? The conflict is that some that believe he is guilty, also believe he is doing a good job.
PLEAAASE HELP
@ Thank you for comment, and it does definitely seem like we're both in the same boat! My main goal is also to get into top 20 schools (USC/UCLA to be exact) and am planning on practicing corporate law. Thinking about it....I'm really not late. I would rather start a year later, than to forever regret rushing into accepting a lower ranked schools offer or no $ package, knowing damn well I could've made it to a better school with more$$$.
I know I'm capable of scoring 165+..... and I took a few months off work to study full time. Was hoping to apply for this cycle, however I'm just not there yet. I am working on this really big job offer that will most definitely set up my legal career for the rest of my life....but the thought of waiting another year is kinda scary. (I'm 23). I feel like there are a lot of family and friends eyes on me, and the expectations are high. I know for a fact even if I accept the job and begin working full time, I won't lose my vision of going to law school and becoming a lawyer, but at the same time I'm scared.
I'm afraid I won't get into a good School/applying January will be too late to get good $$$....Help.
What shall your girl do? What would you do?
What happened with you two? Are you both practicing attorneys now?
what does takes for granted mean?
im in literal pain.
time to get my real estate license.
Question Stem: Principle Type
Stimulus: Two groups of tennis players(same skill level). 1. those who did well. Told their performance is only used to assess their rackets. 2. those who did NOT do well. Told their performance will be judged.
My take: those who knew were being judged, did not do so well. Those who knew they were not under microscope, did well.
Principle should be on one of the two above ^.
A. This is true- like the second group. They knew their performance was being closely watched, didn't do so well. watched or judged?
B. this is also true. It is not about just being watched. It's about their abilities being judged. That makes answer choice A wrong.
C. Confidence? No.
D. "Assessing own talents more Accurately" is outside scope. No.
E. "Pleasing"? No. Outside scope.
It's answer choice B.
Question Stem: Principle Type
Stimulus: Child's imagination development may torment the child by hosting scary creatures. But the kids can also use this imagination to use, say, their toys as ally's and therefore, feel safe.
My take: imagination can be good and bad.
A. Yes, maybe. However, that is not what the stimulus talks about. It is not talking about newly developed capacities that ONLY give rise to problems. We are talking about imagination that gives rise to problems but also solutions.
B. Yes, because imagination also provides a solution to the problem it created.
C. Nothing about distinguishing real and imaginary threats, could be true, however the stimulus is about the imagination can create.
D. We are not seeking further premises. "most effective way" for a child to do something is completely outside the scope of what we talk about.
E. "Child-rearing" is outside the scope of the stimulus.
This question doesn't have an explanation, so here's my thought process.
Question Stem- Principle Question
Stimulus- Machines and tech alter our choices. (example). Clock altered our choices by allowing synch +. HOWEVER, clock also closed some doors. Living without clock is kinda impossible now.
So Machines and tech that alter our choices can have some downsides as well.
A. This makes sense, however, the use of "enslave" and "liberate" sounds really extreme. Keep for now.
B. No. The stimulus no where says what people should and shouldn't do.
C. That MAY be true, however, not what the stimulus is saying.
D. The stimulus does not weigh the pros and cons, so we don't know if it was worth our dependence or not.
E. "Most"??? We only know about one instance that made our life more synchronized and productive. There MAY be more machines. However, that is not within the scope of the premises, and therefore out.
Only answer remaining- A. Correct.
Admin Note: Edited title. Please use the format: "PT#.S#.Q# - brief description of the question"
I do have to say, here the question is definitely making us assume that if the owls eat the rodents, then the poison which has killed the rodent will definitely be carried through to the owl. We are taking our knowledge and the biological facts from the world around us (bias) and bringing it into this question. also we have to make the assumption that the owls would be willing to eat a dead rodent. The reason I was originally suspicious of Choice B was due to the assumptions that I would have to carry in order to mark B. Got it right anyways!
Interested. Scoring in the high 60's. aiming for a solid 70 by June 2022.

I'm going through the syllabus and I don't know how I'm supposed to study. Should I perfect each question type before I move on, or should I move and go through the whole thing and then begin focused review.
Sometimes I don't know when it's time to move on.
I hate this test. It's so so hard. T-T
I feel helpless.
tough tough question....I have seen it come up over and over again in examples. make sure u understand it.
@ I thought I did really well, then I got 153. what!!
To sum up, the difference between answer choice B and E is the timeline.
The stimulus, very specifically says "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger....IN A FEW YEARS."
Where E goes wrong is it does not take into consideration when the antibacterial was used. Maybe it was used yesterday, and we clearly know it takes years for it to build resistance.
B, on the other hand, clearly states the timeline and is therefore the correct answer.
For this question- I chose answer choice B, and now I know what I did wrong.
Why I chose B- If a company resists technological changes, then it will be booted off by companies that accept those changes. So, everyone will lose their jobs. Then I thought- well, if they were to accept the technological changes, then those workers who aren't capable of mastering those changes will be booted off. So those incapable will be out of job one way or another (by either getting fired or their company going under). So who's the real victim? I thought B, those who possess the skills to learn and prosper. Those are the ones that if the company were to accept the changes, they wouldn't go under, and they would learn the new technology and prosper.
Why B is incorrect- I basically thought too far off and made assumptions along the way. the word "only" should've been a giveaway that even if the workers would've lost their jobs if the company Brought on the changes, they would still be affected if the company went under. So the skilled workers wouldn't be the only ones out of jobs.....
This answer choice was written to entrap someone with the exact thought process as me.
I did reaaaally good on this. I got every single one right. Second attempt at studying for the LSAT. If you're seeing this, it's your sign. You got this!
