Idk if this will help for y'all, honestly I spent a really long time reviewing this question. But in certain occasions it might help to not use strict logic. We know that the conclusion is the proposed tax return will NOT be adopted.
ok how do we get there through the premises? we either need the the daily story hours to remain or for parents not to be inconvenienced.
-Just think about it without all the logic applied: "no tax reduction package that would greatly inconvenience parents will be adopted this year"...ok what does that mean? if it inconveniences parents then its not going to be adopted/ the opposite of this would be that we will have the tax reduction package if parents are inconvenienced
Hey Flavio, thank you for doing this- I would love to take this opportunity if possible!
I picked D, but I didn't like that it said 'some' when the stimulus says 'every'... I just have to remember some can mean 1-100
for 24 I saw collection instead of contrivance and was like HA they tried to pull a quick one on me and assumed it was wrong... T_T
Ugh I didn't like D as I thought it to be too broad... I was looking for it to say something about phones/driving
Just wanna say this was an awesome explanation, and helped me understand C- thank you!
I guess I misinterpreted it to mean something like this: "the outside university context"could have been academics but they were willing to translate into a simplified version for the common people which is why I eliminated E because I thought hey but they're doing it... but maybe that was an assumption of mine.
I chose D as I thought: those who are outside academia are able to bring about change more so they stand more to gain (but not necessarily as academics can also get the same benefits)
Wellll I'll keep practicing
For Main Conclusions I tend to formulate a response in my head rather than looking at the passage, does anyone have any tips for just "spotting it" in the passage? #help
for 6 I chose B. I thought since it was illegal, it would be least likely to happen. However, looking at the wording of the AC I see it says "found liable", which means that it is illegal, but that the person got caught- that can happen for sure.
C: is actually a contradiction to what is said in the passage so this is what makes it right.
Just in case anyone else had the same thought process as me!
I don't know if you're still accepting but I'd like to! Diaborras@martintalithia7467.com
thank you for this, i legit couldn't visualize why D was right until you explained it
I'm finding that when they state relationships I automatically assume they are causal... does anyone have any tips around this?

I don't know if this can be answered, but what do you do in logical reasoning situations where you just simply don't understand the stimulus? After having JY explain it I finally got what it was saying but the first time around I was very lost. Any tips for this?

not sure how I missed it saying must be false... (:
