I usually go -0 to -2 on LG. Breezed through my experimental LG, really hoping that was real. I got crushed by games 3 and 4 in the real one. I'm so depressed.
Go for a run and probably watch Netflix. In bed by 10:30.
@ We are told the species diverged 25 million years ago. If virus go into the DNA in a random spot, it is highly unlikely that the birds would have HV in the same spot in their DNA unless it was there before the divergence occurred. So because HV was there before the two species happened, it is present in the same place in their DNA.
Wow, thank you!
I'm totally lost with this question. So when the Hvirus inserts itself into a chromosome of an animal, fragments of the virus are passed onto the descendants. The zebra finch and junco both have the hvirus fragments in the same location. They diverged 25 millions years ago, so therefore the hvirus is 25 million years old.
I just can't see any assumptions the argument is making. In my opinion, C might weaken the argument if the insertion occurs at a random spot. Doesn't this contradict that the fragments are in the same location?
Thanks!
Thank you @ And thanks again for those awesome BR sessions!

See you guys tomorrow!
@
Tottenham supporter since I was born! (I am from North London originally).
Ask Jurgen Klopp.
Just kidding, academic ones are best.
@ I would begin to start working almost exclusively with the newest tests and taking the mid-to-high-160s as well as the 170s, even if they're retakes. In fact, I strongly encourage you
do
take advantage of retakes; you'll learn a lot from them
I've taken 55-78. I took PT 51 today and did much worse. Do you think I should still focus on the 60s and 70s retakes in the final weeks? The PT 51 score was pretty disappointing, since I feel that I have been improving. However, I'm aware my scores from retakes are inflated.
Since I've decided to retake, I have completed three prep tests. Clearly, the scores are inflated because I've already taken them before. For December, I'm planning on dissecting the incorrect questions even more throughly than before. My question remains: How do I judge my improvement now that my PT scores are higher than they are supposed to be? I don't want to walk into December's exam being completely unsure of my range.
Just for clarity, I've already done PTs 53-78, individual sections pre-36 and somewhat in the 40s and early 50s.
Thanks!
I don't know. I'm Jewish and pretty decent at LG. Maybe I'm Asian too?
Probably not.
I'm in the same boat for my retake. Blind Review is even more crucial now that my scores are probably inflated due to recognizing LR. For LG and RC, I don't remember the exact questions so I think I'm good there.
I'm reviewing the questions even more now, not worrying about how many PTs I'm taking and also not paying too much attention to the three digit score. My goal for December is to be a LSAT robot where I recognize patterns and get more confident with timing.
Yep, I'm retaking. Scored 6 points below my average, now I'm debating between retaking in Dec or Feb (applying for this cycle).
I really do think I peaked in August and I saw my PTs drop in September. I felt burned out 3 weeks before the test and even took a break but it wasn't enough.
So in deciding between Dec and Feb, what do you suggest? Dec is only 44 or so days away but Feb might cause another burnout episode.
Did you look at your scantron?
This is all I could hear when the clock hit 7:00pm EST
I found the hardest to be PT 65, PT 71, PT 72, and PT 76.
I'm going to work on my applications (LoR, personal statement, resume, etc) for a couple of weeks and then decide whether I'm going to re-take once the scores come out.
RC was tough especially passages 2 and 4.
Eileen Gray died on October 31st.
Coincidence? I think not.
If the proctor follows protocol, you will get a 5 minute warning.
Seriously one of the hardest passages/questions in RC.
Thanks everyone! Best of luck to all of you!
