Inclined to share this because most people don't understand what it means for a country to be a "developing" country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP8CzlFhc14&t=714s&ab_channel=JamesThompson
"This latter use" is referring to the "transactions with the Brazilian government", not to "video to document"
No. It's really about what follows Establish vs Present. You could've switched Establish into C and it would still be the right answer choice.
The passage is written in present tense. Also, B. Snell is described as an "early scholar."
Marcia is pronounced Marsha, not Marseeya
Hobbes believed that people are rationally self-interested.
Rare Fat Cat L. Cats against Capitalism. Cats -m--> Anarchists.
#feedback For #3, you just told us that "only" is a Group 2 indicator, and therefor indicates a necessary condition. Now, in #3 you're telling me that "the only" is a group 1 indicator.
I had #3, according to what I just learned in the previous 2 lessons, as this:
WD (written down) --> OMS (oral myth survived)
/OMS --> /WD
Please clarify ASAP, why "the only" is a group 1 indicator and not a group 2 indicator.
#feedback Would be nice to have the diagram. Thanks.
same, screenshotting didn't come out well either
This is wrong. It's better to think of "This is not a sustainable, long term solution" as a sub-conclusion. It is still attempting to persuade you that it is not a good long-term practice. The reason that "they should stop producing food waste and shut down operations immediately" is the main conclusion, is because "this is not a sustainable, long term solution," informs the former; ie, They should stop producing food waste and shut down operations BECAUSE temporarily storing food waste in the backyard is not a long term solution.
This is a good example of sub-conclusion = major premise that is informing the main conclusion. It's not all that useful to think of arguments in terms of their persuasion as you're just going to get bogged down in how you personally feel about certain arguments instead of addressing the context and claims that are there in front of you.
A never mentions detachment. A might imply detachment from your political affiliations, or pre-existing biases, but not from the subject matter as in B.
