Great explanation. I had trouble because I didn't see two numbers brought up at the end of C, but there was a specific assumption we had to make to get to it which adds up for it.
During blind review, I was truly trying to process which may be the right one. I sat on C until it clicked for me how it is a valid argument. I sat here trying to make a valid argument invalid.
C is extremely sneaky. I actually at first interpreted it as them saying see other rules did the same thing maybe we are and it was actually the rulers before Caligula that were like this. Yet I still did not favor that answer.
For 27 I don't really see Passage A giving off the energy of forceful advocacy. It was more of just good old fashion advocacy.

AC C really does strengthen but in a way of showing that conclusion still does follow even after what we know about when the meteorite left
Arguments by analogy cannot guarantee the conclusion is the best take away for this question, everything else can be crossed out faster.
As well AC A stood on the fact that it wouldn't produce any damage, when in fact the passage never spoke about how it can hurt.
Take away is that I shouldn't cross out an answer that may not make sense just off the first sentence. They clearly do that a lot of times but this time it was actually the answer. I sat looking at this question and couldn't see any of them working, yet decided with C
Answer choice B was definitely the best answer on there, the "will" is what made it a bit more difficult. Our passage give us a "can" scenario.
This is a prime example of having to use process of elimination to get you to the right answer. I can confidently say that if you understood what you were looking for in a weaker and this answer choice was written better, most of the answers we thought of would've been eliminated quicker!
For those who were confused as I in B think of it like this, A could have still made abstract work later on they were just not original. IF B had said most late abstract works were not original that would have made sense but that would just a restatement of what we know.
E makes sense because if the test we conducted actually had a natural cause that lasted 7 days that opens us up to many assumptions leaving the argument with many gaps now. Yet E rests on that argument that hey humans are actually the only ones capable of that.
I seen B as saying whatever could be left after the erosion was swiped by the scavengers meaning nothing is left. Which in turn, strengthens the conclusion.
All of them sucked but once I was able to see the answer, A made the greatest sense compared to all of them.
Makes good sense, was able to cross out the obvious ones. But a great take way is to make sure with the most difficult ones that I can definitely signify what each part of the stim job is.
I knew A was right but I'm sorry a 5 star question like that felt too simple and I went for another answer
A is so supported the fact I passed through that
E also tells us "interest" but never states which group they are mentioning. Too much assumption, more than we can make.
I looked at A and said this should be the answer, I didn't realize till now that they shorted the answer. I figured choosing A inferred from the stim what they were trying to get at. My most important take away is that on disagree/agreement questions the answers must always complete its entire point to be valued as valid. This makes A and C wrong for the same reason.
Answer Choice C is exactly what came in mind when I read the passage yet the wording they used was the reason I had not chosen it.
JY I expected for question 23 you would at least show us where in the passage we can make the inference that chlorine is the most damaging element. If I wanted to just see that answer I would have done that on my own
I seen the trap answer choice honestly as a possible conclusion but it did not have any premises to support it. I also felt like it didn't actually have support for our actual conclusion. So I ended up using it as a fact.
JYs mood throughout passage A was me when I was reading it
I actually liked this passage more than passage two. Passage two was a what moment.
