@RT.IBL absolutely! I can't speak much on RC (still working on it lol) but what helped me improve pretty drastically for LR was taking time to break down the stimulus. I went through sections of LR without even looking at the questions to test my understanding of the stimuli. I would read the stimuli (I'm allowed to re-read sentences as many times as I want until I get to the very last sentence/ period. At that point I don't let my self re-read it). Then, I would cover it up and just bullet point what I remember from the stimuli/ felt were absolutely necessary in understanding what it was saying. Then, I'd go back and check what I might have forgotten/ if I got every part of the argument in my bullet points. My major problem was losing time re-reading and trying to understand the stimulus while I was doing questions or even having to re-read it after a couple of answer choices. this definitely helped me almost force myself to understand the stimuli without needing to reference it too much when I started to get back to doing questions. I got this tip from someone else and honestly it helped me cut down my wrong answers A TON. hope that helps!
I’m so happy to get a higher score during BR. I’m really trying to figure out how I can get my timed score closer to my blind review score/ how long it typically takes for the gap. I’m set to take my exam in October. I know it’s just about 4 weeks away but any tips on getting closer to the 170+ range is truly appreciated. Thank you!!
@EthanPerlmutter Thank you Ethan! This is really helpful- I think my main issue with RC is the same as yours as well (especially as I get to the end of a section). Good luck in October!
