A premise is only a premise insofar it supports a conclusion. If there is no conclusion, there is no argument, and there is no premise. In this case, the claim is an author's point.
I like that the v2 content is more holistic... we are talking about formal logic, and it is as simple as an air-tight argument. The content seems more cohesive and concise. I also like the text more than the video + text format (this is very personal, but I enjoy it more).

Everything is subjective, but I'd say start from the beginning. It lays a nice logic foundation among strategies that might differ from other LSAT prep material (or even your own strategies). With time, you'll learn what works for you and what does not (since every prep course will have its flaws). Keep it up!
