Is the last sentence in the stimulus re citrus juice just extra information to confuse/distract then? We can disregard the sentence completely (as happened in JY's explanation) and still get at the correct answer.

I was able to eliminate B because of the term "always." I've come to find that absolutes such as "never," etc are usually not the answer. Additionally, I think Anna's argument focuses more on why the old > new, whereas Tony's was more of why new > old (with a focus on why one is better than the other economically).
