One way that has sort of worked for me is just forcing myself to find the content entertaining or interesting; which is not always too hard, cause a lot of the time I think these passages do have some interesting stuff going on in them!

I realize it has been three months but the reason C is wrong is that it does not eliminate the possibility that the cortex has more influence on the amygdala than the amygdala has on the cortex. Additionally, although the amygdala to cortex connection is more developed than the cortex to amygdala connection, it could still be the case that there are other connections from other parts of the brain to the cortex that are more developed.

It is a premise, but not a premise of the stimulus' main argument. The stim's main arguemnt's premises support the main conclusion that "the current voluntary system is to be preferred". B is a premise for the idea that the town residents should all sort their own garbage.
