I eliminated B because I thought it being the alternative explanation for ALL instances of the observed phenomenon was too strong. It could definitely explain many of the instances, but I thought coincidence/ lucky guess could still come into play. I ended up picking E because the main claim was that telepathy is possible for people with close psychic ties - I assumed telepathy and psychic ties were the same thing

I put A because the author states beer and distilled liquors only have alcohol as an active ingredient, and alcohol has conclusively shown to be harmful towards health. I guess I assumed that only active ingredients can have health improving effects

I totally misunderstood the use of "abnormally' here. I thought it was referring to the fatality# being extremely high in general, that is, compared to all other roads. I did not take it as extremely high for that particular road for that particular year
