im interested!
i would be interested!
one of the issues with E is that it is not descriptively accurate in terms of what the main conclusion of the argument is saying
the mistake i made here was assuming acting out of a concern for others was the same as her conscience required it, which is not necessarily true!
was legit going to ask if "but" indicated the author's argument, not the educators'. this cleared up the question a LOT for me. thank you!
this is a super subtle part to whole flaw, took me a while on BR to truly understand it
i feel like this could be a good flaw question as well
degenerative doesn't necessarily equal needing a brain transplant. there could be a degenerative disease that required a transplant to cure in the past, but could be solved by medication in the future. the author assumes there will be no development of methods to cure these diseases beyond transplant in the future
i feel like the answer choice makes an unreasonable assumption that books with intrinsic value are of good quality
D does not attack the support the premise is giving the conclusion. The boss argues that lower pay compared to other newspapers is fair because they get compensated through training. Saying one newspaper has a different union than the other does not attack his assertion that lower pay is fair because they get valuable training as well. If you choose D, his the support for his conclusion is still in tact.
Just because there are less newspapers doesn't mean there's least broadcast news programs, or digital news jobs
B isn't supported as much as other answer choices, but A is just straight opposite of the info in the stimulus. If gamma stops white blood cells from producing the harmful chemicals, people with MS would get better, not worse. Therefore, it is not supported because it contradicts the stimulus.
A is incorrect because if gamma stops production of white blood cells, the patient could be likely to get better rather than worse. This is because it is the white cells that attack the myelin sheath and make MS worse.
i felt the exact same, it really helped me to draw pictures/diagram different elements in the question instead of focusing on the pure numbers!
i read susceptible as "likelihood" to develop the disease, not likelihood to display symptoms.
i typically read the word in context! most of the time, it acts as an indicator. sometimes, for, since, and because appear for grammar reasons and not as indicators.
this was SO helpful, thank you!
