Also a common thing is that the passages are about ART! any advice on how to do better on ART RC sections?
I am consistently worse at easier RC passages than the harder ones. For example, I just took a PT section with two level 2 passages, and two level 4 difficulty passages and I got four wrong just within one level 2 passage.
Any advice would help! Or if anyone can speak from experience - this has been a consistent problem of mine- I am always better at the harder passages and get at least 2x more questions wrong in the easier passages!
I did it with a combination of abstract and lawgic.
The stimulus states a relationship, and then says there is some sort of exception to id, some situation where the A --> not B relationship is not necessarily true.
Perception (A) --> cannot be a relationship that causes being to have beliefs (not B )
Imperceptible (not A) --> have beliefs (B )
So, for the answer choice I chose A. Because with the same stimulus structure, it also has an exception where A --> not B is not true.
Art (A) --> cannot be an artifact . . . aesthetic reactions (not B )
Aesthetic reactions (B ) --> not art (not A)

Is this right? Some includes most, which is why in the first example it is correct, but most does not include some, hence why the second example is false correct? For specific reference, I was confused on PT 42, Section 4, Number 22 which is why I had this question.

I think its because we have to make more assumptions with AC B in order to support the argument. Like does it mean that the antibiotics cured the disease in which case AC B would not support the argument (since if the antibiotics cured the disease then it would mean the grouse is healthy and if the female doesn't choose then the hypothesis doesn't stand), or does it mean that the antibiotics didn't cure the disease which i guess would somehow support? Yes I think you are right! the mature white pines would block all the sunlight and because the pines cannot grow in the shade of the mature ones, it would be that the baby trees and mature trees cannot grow together which is why A is the right AC. the trees in the stand have to be similar in age to one another because if one is younger, it likely would not have grown. hope this helps!

i think pseudo sufficient usually has "most helps to justify" instead of just "enables the conclusion to be drawn" or "justifies the conclusion" like the sufficient ones.
sufficient assumption means you need to create a valid, perfect argument, but pseudo sufficient indicates there are still some assumptions that need to be addressed- hopefully this helps!

@giuliapines511 good point! i agree- maybe i need to stop judging the passages on difficulty and just overall read carefully and answer the questions carefully. i think i might be too fixated on the actual difficulty of passages
