I'm following this thread, because I am in the exact same boat as you, with two parallel choices. Although, I'm worried about the scholarship situation even at my "safety" school, so I'm definitely going to retake in November. I'm also exhausted of this process, but even if I get more score up a couple points, I think it could make an enormous difference in the debt I'm living with for many years to come.

I am interested though to hear what others think about how important the stage in the cycle you apply in is for admission and scholarship consideration. October vs. December?

Also a solid meh here. I've been studying since December, with about 2 months worth of gaps in consistent studying. I was doing as much as I could with a full time job and lots of other life obligations. My diagnostic was 159, and my PT's since then have varied wildly, from 159-170, with an average of about 164. So my September score of 163 was pretty expected. I'm retaking again in November, because after writing the exam once, I think I will be in a much better head space the second time around, and I can shoot to hit the higher side of my average, rather than the lower. This score with my GPA should give me a great chance at my top two choices, but I really want to raise my score, even by a few points, to be in a more competitive place for scholarships.

I've been so grateful for this community here, even if I haven't engaged in a lot of discussions. Ya'll are inspirational and have kept my motivation going. I'm also fighting burn-out with this whole process, but the extra work we put in now will have such a huge impact for years to come!! For November, I'm focusing on BR for LR sections and foolproofing more logic games. I feel good about my timing/energy level on full-length PT's, and RC will be what it will be...

My sections were: LG RC LR LR LG

RC- 27 questions - Indus Valley Civilizations

LR -both sections had 25 questions- real sections started with: bonobos who swallowed rough leaves; and the effect of the Gulf Stream creating mild winters in England.

I would love to see a blog post about scholarships and scholarship negotiations.

Hi all! I'm taking the September test, and I just heard about this study group. How do I join in?

@ 25?? Oh man I had 27 bubbled. But I was pretty sure I was off by, at most 1. Can anyone confirm?

I’m pretty positive RC had 27!

Disciplinary Record Disclosures

I'm unsure if I should disclose a certain incident in the character and fitness sections of my applications. One school's application asks, "Has any school, college, or university ever issued you a disciplinary or scholastic warning/probation?". I worked as a Resident Assistant for 3 years in undergrad, and at one point I was put on disciplinary probation by my job for a year. It was an alcohol-related violation. I was 21, but I was in a room with others who were underage and some were drinking. I personally didn't break any rules in the school's disciplinary code, but it was a violation for my job, as an employee of the college. I don't think it's listed in my academic record, probably just in my job file, but I may ask the registrar to be sure. Thoughts on whether or not I need to disclose this?
