Grouping with Chart Games

Hi all,

Would please help me by giving some keywords or conditions of grouping games that can done with charts.

I know some conditions such as it has to have 2 types of items(for example, at least one of the 3 features in 6 cars)

After reading a grouping game, I thought I could do it with chat; however, after spending almost 5/6 minutes on game setup, I realized that I could not do it with chart.

I really appreciate your time and cooperation.

Last 3 PTs that I took are 70-71 and 74. I think I will take rest for couple of days. Thanks for your time and suggestions.

I am not nervous at all. I got 158-162 on all PTs from PT #55-69. BR was fine, too. Thanks for your suggestions.

Lower scores on PTs

Hi everyone,

I need your advice. I am going to take Feb LSAT. About a month ago, my scores on PTs were 158-162. However, I took 3 PTs in last 2 weeks and got about 150. I am getting lower scores on all sections. All of a sudden just before the Feb LSAT, getting lower score is very frustrating for me. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Logic Game Sequence

Hi guys,

I would like to know which games are usually harder(and/or time consuming) among 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th. So far, I have seen 1st game is usually easier, and 3rd one is harder. Sometimes, 4th one is also harder. My problem is, while taking timed PT, somehow, if I pick up a harder one as 1st or 2nd game, then I cannot answer all questions( i.e., I cannot complete the last game, which might be even easier, and I end up getting lower score instead). Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I like it. J.Y. gets mad when reading the wrong answer choices.

Would "A" be a correct answer if it says " At least some people's/somebody's rights will be violated" instead of " the rights of majority of people" ? I am little bit confused because "unequal distribution of political power" may not mean "greater share of political power."

RC book: LSAT Trainer vs. Manhattan RC

Hi all,

I am struggling with RC. Recently, I bought LSAT Trainer. It is really helping me. I am wondering if I should buy Manhattan RC book as well. I heard both books were written by the same writer. Are these two books pretty much similar? Should I buy Manhattan RC? I really appreciate your time and cooperation.

I met a girl who was in the same room I was in. She had only one pencil, no eraser, no ziplock, no analog watch... She dressed like she came to a beach. Before the exam, I asked her if she was ready and if she took any prep class( I told her about 7sage). She said she bought "PS Bible" books one and half weeks ago and did not take any prep course. I did not see hear after the break. Some people think LSAT is a joke.

I was able to pick C and eliminate remaining ACs using the following strategy:

Stimulus:

P: Every theory( Universal Quantifier/U.Q.)

C: Quantum Mechanics( a specific theory)

Tips:

1) This arg. is valid. So the correct answer choice(AC) has to have a valid arg.

2) This arg. is not flawed. ( if it is flawed, then LSAT writers usually mention it as flawed in the

question stem). Therefore, correct AC cannot be flawed.

3) P in the arg. is an U.Q., so the P in the correct AC has to be a U.Q.

4) C is on a specific theory, so the correct AC has to be on a specific one.

ACs:

A) Incorrect: P( few species) is an Existential Quantifier(E.Q.), NOT a U.Q. So just eliminate it.

B) Incorrect: P ( four companies) is NOT an U.Q.

C) Correct: P ( all/every chess) is a U.Q. ( matching the Arg. P). Concl is on a specific one. A good match.

D) Incorrect: P ( a specific virus) is not a U.Q.

E) Incorrect: it is a flawed argument( it is one of the common flaw arg. types: drawing a conclusion on the entire team while considering only a part of it).

J.Y., am I missing anything?

I got this question right based on the following, although I am not sure if I am right.

Stimulus states that some people develop heart disease because of high cholesterol while some people don't ( Existential quantifier) describing a causal relationship, and dietary changes affect cholesterol level.

However, the conclusion states "anyone"( a jump from E.Q. to U.Q.), which is a flaw.

Answer choice C states this.
