C is wrong because it says large Victorian apts in one premise and just Victorian apts in the other, to make a conclusion about large Victorian apts. They aren't even talking about the same set.
At least thats how I would cross it out
Essentially A is wrong because the situation it presents is a totally different situation than what is in the stim. So how are we supposed to know that we can draw any conclusions when they are 2 different situations?
This is also the reason D is wrong.
This one was really hard for me to understand lol, and I got a lot of the much harder questions on this PT right
Yeah its so obviously necessary that it felt wrong lol
This PT was very eye opening lol
1. There can be main point questions that you have to use your brain for and
2. There can be 2 flaws in a parallel flaw question
I was gonna say lol I mean ive never heard of that before but I wouldnt think its pronounced like that lol
lol I looked at this while taking the test and was like "yeah im not diagramming that" because the "any 2 people" tripped me up
Got 15 seconds into the video after he is saying how important it is for this question, decided to try it, easiest diagram of my life im gonna end my shit
I got this wrong at first but going back (without remembering what I put the first time), I got E.
I eliminated D because to me they are focusing on the average payout for each of the examples, not the 1 in a million chance of winning the lottery grand prize or collecting on an insurance claim
This is a year old comment but I'm gonna reply with what I think in case someone else had the same question.
This essentially comes down to the fact that it doesn't have to be airtight. Yes, in theory it could be the 1 thats isn't, but in all likelihood it is in the 99, and that is more than enough to be considered strengthening. With these questions you only have to make it 1% more likely to be true, and this AC definitely does that.
So essentially A is wrong because it isn't necessarily saying that the incidence of allergies in CHILDREN has increased. (which probably would strengthen), rather it has increased in general.
So technically it could have gone up in teenagers but stayed the same in kids?
this one stumped me for like no reason lmaoooooo
went -2 on this section but this one rly bent me over
yeah blud ima keep it a buck I did NOT catch the change from only if to if in the conclusion
I'm in mke area but I'd be willing to do virtual stuff
bro i thought that was too obvious lol
As I am working with my tutor and going through the CC and getting more of a deeper understanding or the test, I feel more confused than when I was studying just by drilling and PTing through Khan academy. My scores before were pretty alright, with a high of 165.
Now that I am learning the CC, I feel like I overthink all the questions and I have learned so much in so little time that it is hard to remember it all when I am doing questions. How have you gotten past this? To some extent I know it is just me essentially having to unlearn my intuition which had gotten me to where I was. But how long should I expect that to take?
I want to score a min of 170, but really am shooting for 175+, and while I theoretically have a long time to study, I want to take the Aug. test.
Is this still available?
lol I thought the "moreover," was a conclusion so I ignored it entirely, who would have thought I'd get it wrong
Thats actually hilarious lol
I was so confident on this one lol
this is wrong
