I got tricked and i totally know why now! i eliminated c,d,e pretty easy and had to choose between A and B like most of you probably did. I made the mistake of choosing B but now realize it is almost attacking the premise whereas A weakens the question. Very dumb move but now i know for future questions. Friggen idiot (in the best Napoleon Dynamite voice)

1. I graduated from Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada with a degree in Management with my GPA in my last two years of 3.6. I was working in the insurance industry with a decent job before I wanted to become a lawyer. I started volunteering for a legal non profit organization where we help low income people a half hour meeting with a lawyers to help them with their respective situations and they offered me a job after volunteering for a year. Also, my family immigrated here from Nicaragua when I was a child.

2. My biggest worry with my application is my application is not worded as strongly as it could be and I also worry about my overall GPA, which is not remotely close to my GPA

3. The two ideas I have for my statement is about my race and how hard it was immigrating to Canada with a single mother. We were not financially stable and I have been working helping out the family since I was 14. The other idea I want to emphasize is about how much I love my job at my non profit. Love the idea of helping low income people, which is one of the reasons I want to attend law school.

4. I did not attend last time.

The best LR and reading comp tutors

Hey guys,

Just wanted to get some opinions on who is a really good tutor to help me with my Reading comp and LR.

I am having a lot of trouble with Reading comp. Definitely my worst section by far usually score around 15. My LR is not that bad scoring around 17 but I would like to get much better at these two sections before my planned February exam. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks boys and girls!

I was honestly just about to ask this question. i am doing the same as you, getting about 7 or 8 out of 10 for every quiz. You're not alone. all i can say is that because of this course, my understanding of questions and my overall score has gone up and the skys the limit. Keep your chin up. You and i will get better. Keep following the course outline, doing JYs recommendations and Im sure i will see you in law school one day :)

I need help with RC 7sage community!!

Hey guys,

so i started doing prep tests today and i really need help with RC. I scored a 149 but my LG and LR are doing not bad, still definite room for improvement, but what killed me was my RC i got 7/26 (timed) like WTF!!!!! if i would have gotten 10 more answers correct i could have got a decent score. This is the lowest ive ever scored but i cant have this problem during my October test otherwise its bye bye law school hello becoming a janitor....ok maybe not that drastic but you get the point.

Anyways i really need help with this section obviously and i am looking to you beautiful people to help me out. My biggest issue is definitely timing. I am guessing on average 10 questions each timed section.

Also, i have been hearing about this LSAT trainer. For those who have this, is this better than the method JY teaches? Would anyone recommend this? Do you think i would have enough time to figure out this method before the october LSAT

If you guys have any tips or recommendations for me it would be greatly appreciated

Best Regards

dont apologize for your response it was great. The LSAT is tough and its nice to know i am not the only one who is going through this. i think also im putting a lot of pressure on myself because i want to go to law school so bad that every time i do not do good on a problem set i get discouraged. I will definitely try what you told me. thanks @. Youre a champ

What i should i be getting on Sets of question

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering how everyone has been doing on the question sets given after every lesson?

I seem to be hit and miss and sometimes i get 8 out of 10 and sometimes 4 out of 10. My blind review also is not helping that much either as it seems i just seem to go with the same answer as before. what can i do other than re-watch the lesson to bring my marks up to a consistent 8 or 9 out of 10?

Not doing so well

hey guys,

This is a question for you folks who have been through most of the lessons.

I have been working through the syllabus and i am currently on the weakening questions. I did pretty well with the MP questions but i have been hitting and missing with the weakening questions and it brought my confidence way down. Have any of you guys experienced this with some lessons? i have been trying to implement JYs explanations on how to do weakening questions and reviewed those lessons and still have been pretty inconsistant. what do you think i should do to get better? tips? thoughts? really getting worried about doing the lsat

Thanks guys
