Happened to me!! In my case it was def burnout. When you drill a ton and then take a PT, you're inevitably going to be fatigued. It's why common advice is to ease up/avoid cramming in the days leading up to the actual test.
I realized that my mental fatigue was causing me to not apply the techniques I'd been practicing in my drills. I was tired, frustrated, wanted it to be over--so I (subconsciously) wasn't taking the time on each question that I should've been.
What helped was deciding when to take PTs in advance, and dedicating a study session to just that day's PT. So I'd do a quick warmup beforehand (maybe 5 LR questions, 1 RC passage), then take the PT. Afterward, I'd do blind review and consider how to improve based on the results. This gave me more consistent scores. Good luck!!
I 10000% cheated by deciding that “Members CAN receive a special discount coupon” doesn’t mean ONLY members can receive the coupon; since Pat received the coupon but failed the condition of only receiving the coupon at the Main Street location, then she must not be a member.
