This looks like math to me

When I read it I thought it was comparing hot days v. cold days.

The grammar portion has fried my brain.

#feedback Could the referent be either "democracy" or "the authoritarian regime" because the support base of the authoritarian regime became democracy's support base? I could be overthinking this.

Is it possible for the conclusion to be in the middle of an argument? If so, how would that look when determining the premises and conclusion using these methods?
