The guy sounds like a Harry Potter Character, just saying.
Edit: googled him like you said, JY youre freaking me out. I just watched In Bruges, a movie ive never seen, and his painting was in it. Ok back to studying!
My face is bruised from this passage hitting me so damn hard.
Hate this question, theres always one question in a section that I legitimately hate - this one is it.
Good Explanation JY and Accounts Playable!
this question isn't even hard, but in terms of it being tricky it is off the charts.
same thing, I am studying at my dining table right now just kicking myself that I missed that.....WOW.
almost 3 times as long as my normal time for a question with a 50% chance of me getting it wrong...
Would I work at a job with 3 times more hours with a 50% chance of getting paid???
Thatll be a big ole skip from me thank you sir
(dont rip into my argument by analogy!!!)
same man, I am constantly thinking as you but you write everything out and are very helpful.
Hate this question. I dont care if most businesses and factories use AC. What if there are only 4 or 5 businesses or factories in the town and they are tiny businesses and factories. I know this isnt likely I just really hate this question.
ugh these questions, maybe I just worked too much today....
How is D not flawed? The stimulus gives us evidence that while the population is in fact constant it FAILS to consider that new wolves were introduced to the environment. The editors argument is predicated on a lack of information.
Both D and E hold the same ability to be a correct AC to me.
Sorry JY you enlighten me on so many things, I am sorry to be adversarial lol
I still dont really understand why B is wrong. Who cares about beneficial insects from question D? Pest control experts can fully take into account that there are beneficial insects and want them dead just the same because they make nests in rooms they fly in and those nests aggravate the allergies of a 80 year old woman even if they add to the growth of the plant that 80 year old woman has....see where I am going? We dont know how many beneficial insects fly around and we dont know how many harmful insects fly around...
This question bothers me, I have probably gone through 100 LR questions before I stopped reviewing to comment on how an answer bothers me lol.
Someone help pls!
5/6 9 min 45 secs, geez that was hard.
HARD FOR NUMBER 1, damn that would psych me out.
Same thing for me but I picked D. It was very close because I naively did not identify the "set of genes" modifier in answer choice A
Had to use POE on this one to get it right.
JY you gave me a solid laugh when you were sharing my sentiments on the argument from the motor coach driver. Can we even call that an argument???
Top 10 hardest question I have seen. Without POE I would be lost.
The "little time" got me...Another lesson learned! Thanks JY!
Or others can look at it like they need to study more? Others might also look at it like this material we have come so far to learn is actually paying off?
When I see sections where people do extremely well and I do poorly I am forced to go back and review to get to their level. My LSAT score depends on what I am able to understand and retain, some of the comments are clear indicators I missed something that SHOULD NOT be missed.
I enjoyed this video a lot. I did not enjoy the discussion using the word moist.
Very well written, I too got concerned in the exclusionary "or" in the argument versus the possibility the two stimuli could exist at the same time as per AC B. When reviewing I just had to show myself that although this may be accurate it is not the heart of the flaw.
I enjoyed this problem set but this question really irks me and guidance into it would be appreciated. It also really hit home when JY in the last 25 seconds of so kept saying "could, could be" for the selection of E.
"The press agent did not tell every reporter everything about the accident"
Example: 3 reporters, one agent with 100% knowledge- Two reporters have 25% of the story, one reporter has 35% of the story for the accident.
How is the above not a true equivalence of the quote from the passage? If you believe that it is, how are you certain answer E is right when there can be a reporter with in fact more knowledge?
Really enjoyed reading this because it reminds you there is more than one way to victory.
Play to your strengths, I have read a lot of comments where people have no idea what the correct answer is but they sure as hell could identify why an answer was wrong.
I would 100% contest this answer because you cannot start throwing in qualifiers/modifiers for one answer choice and not the other. Would it change your mind to know that trees grow rings at different rates depending on locations?
What helped me to eliminate B was the fact that we have the condition it only occurs in the cities with large amount of soot. Does that mean every city with a large amount of soot has the ailment? - No.
