Hey guys, just wondering when you guys do practice tests, do you usually do 3 section tests or 4 sections? I’m writing in April and June and not sure if I should always do 4 sections or alternate. Thank you in advance!

The reason I did not pick A was because it does not tell us why Healy misrepresented the information. Yeah the art work from that century would sell for more but is that the reason Healy did it? What if Healy actually thought it was from mid eighteen time? A doesn't tell us if Healy deliberated misrepresented the information or not and if we are not sure if it was deliberate then it does not justify the principle application.
Hey,
If you go under practice - drills - it might be saved there
The reason B is supported is because it is telling us that broadcast do not rely on subscribe fees whereas cable does. Due to this cable is cheaper whereas broadcast is not. In a way we are making smaller assumption that cheaper is good in this argument however the stimulus also states that Cable is cheaper than broadcast so it is already implied in the stimulus that cheaper is better.
The way I understood that A was correct was because if broadcast is viewed in several countries then how can we say cable is better? Broadcast can reach more diverse population which goes against our stimulus whose whole purpose is to state that cable is better than broadcast. Process of elimination was also extremely helpful in determining A as a answer choice.
My understanding is that B is talking about television when our focus is on children and that they should be taught to protect themselves from possible harms of unhealthy food. Example, children should be taught how to swim.
B is doing the opposite where the swimming pool should be designed to protect children not caring if children know how to swim.
We also don't know if the television advertisements are misleading. We don't know if they are advertising their products as "healthy". Advertisements might not even talk about harm or benefits of soft drink and candies.
I would wait to complete the whole syllabus before starting practice tests. You want to do practice tests once you know what you are looking for when answering questions.
One thing that helped me is putting aside an hour everyday after work to study. I work 9-5 as a paralegal so it is mentally exhausting. I'm more likely to study if I know I only have to study for an hour than doing it for 3-4 hours without learning anything. If I can keep going then I will study for 2 hours. I try to start studying as soon as I get home so I don't get lazy and I also try to put an hour in the morning to study at work. So from 9-10AM I will spend mostly studying for lsats at work. It helps a lot and you have less to do when you get home.
Ignore. Made by mistake
Nervous. I don't even know if I should do it. This is my first time as well and I want to raise my score by 10 points but recently I started scoring lower. What study plan do you have to raise your score? How many practice tests are you guys doing? and what do you study on other days?
did you do a practice test before starting the core curriculum? That gives a rough idea where you stand. It's better to wait to start doing practice tests after you finish the core curriculum so you know which strategies to implement when doing a practice test. There are only limited tests available so you don't want to waste any when you are not ready.
@jacobchisholm818 how were you able to increase your score? Did you do practice tests or drills?
Do you guys take old practice tests timed? Like 1-50? How accurate are those? I'm doing 2 times practice tests per week and then reviewing. Is that a good idea?
Thank you!! This really helps! I was stressed because I'm about to start doing practice tests for April Lsat and did not have time during weekdays.
Hey guys! So I took a practice test in 2023 without any studying and scored a 139. I recently took the same exam and another practice test and scored 149. Is that improvement? I don't know if I should be happy or a bit disappointed. My blind review is 153. I went up 10 points in both blind review and timed test. I'm not sure if I should be scoring high after doing the core curriculum and drills. The only section that hasn't improved in reading comprehension.
How do you guys study for LSATS after the core curriculum? Like how many practice tests do you guys take a week? I work full time so I can mostly just do practice tests over the weekend. Do I just do drills the other days and which drills should I do?
How do you guys do reading comprehension? I can't seem to get any strategies when tackling reading comprehension. I don't know how to get better and if it is even worth practicing since every passage is different? Any advice would be really helpful.
I'm interested
Hey! I would recommend doing the prep tests after you have done all three section lessons. Once you know different type of questions, then it is useful to take the test otherwise you are just going in blind not knowing what to expect or how to approach certain questions. There are not a lot of prep tests so you don't want to start taking them too early and wasting them because I have done drills and I am starting to recognize the questions and their answers now.
I'm having trouble with logical reasoning especially the weakening questions. I was wondering do you guys use any other source to understand logical reasoning?
I HATE THIS! MY BRAIN IS HURTING AND NO IDEA WHAT IS HAPPENING
