I really struggled with this answer, even though I was tempted to pick it, because of the obvious contempt that the author of Passage A has for the "inevitable answer" in Rosenthal's book. When he states that "such rhetorical questioning invariably leads to the required postmodern answer," it seems pretty clear that the author does not agree that this is the inevitable answer. He later acknowledges that no moral standard is universal, which could be viewed as a concession that the use of the term plagiarism has varied despite Passage A's author opposing relativism as an approach.

I struggled because I disagree with Passage A's author personally, but wanted to ensure that I wasn't falling into any trap. Is my reasoning flawed? I accept the answer is wrong but am struggling on how to navigate questions like these.
