I just finished mine today. I had 2 LGs and I hated it. I thought the first LG was significantly more difficult than the second set. I did okay on the second with possibly -1/-2 barring any stupid mistakes. LR and RC seemed okay to me. LR was probably similar difficulty and I felt that my RC was simple. The RC included - power line fear, plant & fungus, African writing by a particular author, and a comparative about privatization.
Anyone with two LGs had similar experiences??? I'm really hoping for the first LG to be the experimental now...
I thought of that but did not want to make that assumption...
Your answer makes a lot of sense.Thank you!!
I find this one so annoying. First, how can you infer about real ancient people's behavior from a play? Second, "reading silently to himself" I understood it as "silent reading" meaning that the expressing amazement while reading is not really "reading to himself silently". I'm just so annoyed with these types of questions.
I agree with you. I think the major flaw is just the "many" vs "most". JY's explanation to say common people's ideas don't make policy has nothing to do with this argument. The argument is basically saying common people's belief is incorrect. Answer C is also saying that the sentence chosen demonstrates why "many" people are wrong about what they think the firefighters should do.
I like how you explained Q10 acB. Better and more convincing
D has another conditional statement in the condition, and that secondary conditional statement doesn't tell us whether the commission members will give consent or not so it does not trigger the first condition. If the statement says "it'd be justified to release the report only if the members all give consent, and they will all give consent only if they are consulted.
I think E is incorrect is that the author establishes that people are more likely to engage in risky behavior when the alternative means more loss, not necessarily because the gain will be greater
I struggled with it for 3min...fortunately I got it right because I was able to eliminate the other 4 choices and then found support for the right AC.
So passage A is primarily about 2 principles that define property ownership - principle of acquisition and principle of transfer. The 1970 act is to ensure that no illegal transfer happens that takes away the native Americans' land without them understanding what it means, so it pertains to transfers. The second passage's last sentences about returning the land is regarding the principle of rectification but that's not what the Indian Nonintercourse Act was about.
Your interpretation is correct. Passage A is talking on a high level about the principles and what should be done, but there are no details - no evidence, no case studies, etc, to back up either of these principles or the final argument which is the principle of rectification.
I think that's the lesson learned from this one. XYZ are the sufficient conditions but not necessary, so missing one element doesn't mean the logic doesn't follow. I did not get this either...
The professional letters don't have to come from a boss. It could be from a peer you worked with and had good opinions of you. You can always contact these people and test the water first.
You do need an academic letter. I graduated from undergrad in 2013 and still have to cough up an academic LOR.
I feel the same with this question, so I chose C. I mean I understand the majority of the passage and a big distinction the author made is regarding ac A, but that's not the main stance the author is arguing for - which is the fact that the copyright laws should not be made more restrictive.
I chose C and now realized why it was wrong. Because the statement says to prevent reduction or profits, these markets charge a higher average price, but this is comparing with the stores themselves before deployment of coupons. We cannot know what are their profits compared to other stores that do not use coupons. Maybe these stores use coupons exactly because they have a lower profits than other stores.

Hey same here! I graduated from college 7 years ago. Went into an industry that I could find jobs in due to immigration limitations. Always interested in law and now through my current career (with some exposure to compliance and legal work) I've confirmed that law is still what I want. I'm applying this year especially I think I'm finally seeing the light at the end of my tunnel called immigration.
I actually agree with you. I listen to his explanations for why B was eliminated and thought that was not right.
I think you are spot on. Your explanation took 2min to read and think through vs. the 15min winded explanation by JY...
I'm the same as OP because LR is my strongest section. My LG is inconsistent depending on types of the games and my RC is a disaster. Took flex for the first time in Feb, did worse than my normal LSAT.
I don't like his explanation for this question either. He's stretching it and rushing it over.
I also chose this AC but I think it's wrong because it's overly generalized using a specific set of conditions. According to Gilman, at this point, the society needs more cooperation to further proceed, but that doesn't mean that's the end of a society's development. Maybe in the future, we'll need more of the masculine traits or completely something else when the conditions change. AC makes it sound like that this future Gilman talked about is the inevitable end, or the direction every society will need, which is not necessarily true. A is better phrased. I ruled it out thinking "detrimental" was too strong a word because the passage did not say that the masculine traits are detrimental to the future...
That's exactly how I felt so I chose E even though I didn't like E all that much either. The fact that feminine traits are better for future progress doesn't mean that the society doesn't need the masculine traits any more. This is really vague.
I chose C too, but now that I look at it, I think we overlooked the fact that the thermo energy doesn't turn into heat until the energy created from the high speed collision is in excess of the energy required. The AC doesn't say that the collision has created excess energy so we can't assume that there's this excess energy turning into heat.

@dianao6512815 Do you by any chance remember the questions from your LG section? Did you get something about fencing competitions? I got LR-LG-RC-LG
I
I had two LG sections. The first section had the F/G inspecting/visiting office and the other has the movies on Friday/Saturday in the two theaters. These games are sooo hard, I basically randomly picked answers for 5-6 questions which never happened for me before.
My second LG was much more normal. It has fencing (some sort of competition, I don't remember it to be fencing but everybody says so...), politicians, also movies with different genres. I also had 1 question that I think I chose wrong, but all the others were decent. I really hope this is the scored section.
