If so who is down for a study group? My goal score is at least a 165 or higher!

We will continue to use RingCentral, though I am still not really sure what the deal is with its apparently-absent waiting room functionality. So I'll probably just put the link up ~15 minutes early and let people filter in. Feel free to chat amongst yourselves in the meantime! Face cameras are gently encouraged - it's a lot easier to have a conversation that way.
=============
Hi everyone! I decided it would be cool to run some office hours and help some folks out. I've done a few of these in the past and it's always been fun to talk shop with people. Think of it as a drop in/drop out study group, open to all.
Limiting this to 7Sage for now because it's easier to get things done if everyone has a common basis in terms of vocabulary, how you learn the theory, etc. and after a decade of using 7Sage I know the curriculum like the back of my hand.
Who Am I/Why Should You Listen To Me?
I scored 175 on the September 2006 LSAT (-4 RC, -2 LR, -0 LG), graduated from Columbia Law School in 2010, spent a year on fellowship with a judge in Bronx Supreme Court Criminal Division while teaching LSAT on the side, and have been teaching the LSAT full time since September 2011. I worked with JY on PreProBono and in the early years of 7Sage, was a 7Sage "Approved Tutor" for the entire life of that categorization, and am the only person other than JY himself who has ever had an instructional video published on 7Sage's live site. I am also the lead LSAT tutor and department chair of a local NYC-based test prep boutique. Some of my writing still resides in the "Sage Advice" section of this forum, so go check it out if you're interested .
Over the past decade-plus, I have amassed over 8,000 hours of combined classroom-based and one-on-one LSAT teaching experience, working with a diverse set of students from across the USA and all around the world - Canada, Brazil, Netherlands, England, France, Qatar, Korea, and China just to name a few. The best score increase I've ever achieved with a student is +36 (136 -> 172).
If you listen to the 7Sage Podcast, you may have heard my name mentioned in episode #67 - Vanessa (138 -> 169) was my student.
How Can I Join?
I'll put up a video chat link above when the time comes, and take it down when we're done.
When Will These Be Happening?
I currently intend for this to be a weekly thing, but the timing will vary depending on the other moving pieces of my schedule. It's not likely that every time will work for everyone, but I will at least attempt to switch it up so that anyone interested can make it at least some of the time. I currently live in New York, but I am a born and raised Californian so I understand the tyranny of Eastern Time very well, so don't worry West Coasters - I'm thinking of you guys too.
What Can I Ask?
Anything is fair game for now - general theory questions, questions about individual questions, macro questions about how to study/trajectory, questions about what hair products I use, etc. Feel free to DM me questions in advance as well. I can't promise I will get to all of them (don't take it personally!), but I will certainly do my best.
I am currently unsure how to handle the whole 'spoilers' issue (for example, a student has a question on PT60 S1 Q1, which another person hasn't gotten to yet), but I think that shouldn't stop me from just getting started. We might just have to tell some folks to deafen themselves temporarily if they don't want to get spoiled for now. In the future I may limit discussion in a specific session to a specific range of PrepTests or curriculum-only, or choose a specific topic to address in depth, or whatever else comes to mind to avoid this issue, but I still have to feel that out organically. Suggestions welcome.
Will This Be Recorded/Uploaded Somewhere?
No plans for recording at this time.
What Will This Cost Me?
Nothing but your time. Happy to help.
What If I Have Another Question?
Fire away! In this thread or in DM.
Hey Everyone! I am looking to form a study group who meets via Zoom AT LEAST 2-3 times a week to prepare for the June 2023 Exam. ***This will be my first time taking the LSAT.
Thanks!
Hello!
My name is Kim and I'm looking for a study group/partner. I'm in my early stages of studying but was wondering if anyone would be interested in a study partner/group. I don't have much friends who are also pursuing law so I thought I'd reach out here! I'm aiming to take the February or March LSAT but am open to studying with anyone at any point in their journey. I'm mostly looking for someone to talk about our study progress with alongside actually studying with them. I like doing work at cafes or libraries around Toronto and am looking for someone to go and be productive with! I also think it's important to have people that I can regularly talk about the LSAT with (online and in-person) so I can hold myself more accountable. So... I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you're looking for an LSAT friend in Toronto, please reach out!
Pt'ing low 160's, looking to get mid 160's for Jan. Can study virtually or IRL in Toronto to stay accountable over the holidays.
meet at least twice a week over zoom.
Read passages before meets and discuss process and techniques used.
Looking to spend between 1-2 hours.
Hello all! I began studying for the LSAT in January and would love to form a small accountability/support study group. I am still working through the CC and have a full-time job. Ideally, the group would be about five people, who work full time, and ususally study around 8 pm ET. We could hop on Zoom, mute ourselves, and work through the core curriculum individually. My goal is to take the LSAT next year.
Hi everyone!
I plan to take the LSAT in September or October. I would like to start an accountability/support study group for people like myself who work full-time.
If you are interested fill out this google form https://forms.gle/fYNEYAkGKp8gxgNw5
To let me know
Happy studying and I hope you can join!
7Sagers, near and far...
Are you looking for study buddies? Taking the April exam? Studying now for an LSAT over the summer and feeling lonely? Or do you just want a break from reviewing questions on your own?
You're in luck! Join us for our next "Study Group Breakout" on Tuesday, April 4th from 9:00-10:30pm ET.
Here's how it works:
Register for the Breakout no later than Monday, April 3rd.
Take PT55 Section 1 (based on 7Sage's numbering - should be an LR section) and Blind Review it, but DON'T look at the answers. I suggest you take it as a "Drill" rather than as a PrepTest! You can do this by going to the "Practice" tab and choosing "Drills," then selecting "Newer" PTs, selecting "Logical Reasoning," and scrolling to PT55 S1 (NOT S3, the other LR section for PT55). You will have to individually add each question to your drill, but hit "Create drill with 26 questions" at the bottom right when finished, and voila!
Log in to the Breakout Session at the appointed time. We will automatically place you in a group of 3-5 students with similar scores so you can review the section together.
At the end of the session, you can exchange emails and keep meeting if you enjoyed the group.
Hope to see you there! Register for the event using this link: https://7sage.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwrdOmqrjMvGNGA_IKHJyltu4n7WwMVUSgX
Hi there, anyone studying for the June 2023 test and aiming for 170+? Would love to have a study buddy!
Hi - taking the LSAT for the second time in June, shooting for 170+ this time around. Need a study buddy to help hold me accountable! I am located in DFW but online works too! I am pretty flexible but I would like to meet at least 1-2 times a week. I work full time so it would have to be in the evening after 5pm or on the weekends.
Hello, this will be my first time taking the LSAT in June of 2023. I really don’t know where to start but I have the LSAT prep book and I am enrolled in a course. I would love study buddies so we can hold each other accountable and help each other. I have a set study schedule but would love to pencil in some time to meet over zoom, or Microsoft teams to help each other. Maybe even make a group chat to update each other on our progress. If anyone is interested please let me know! I’ll make a group me chat.
I’m also located on the east coast, so I’m using EST.
Hey y'all,
I'm looking for 2 study partners to study together til the JUNE 2023 Test. In this group setting we'll meet weekly on an agreed time between us three and help each other with questions through a discussion post. We will hold each other accountable, push each other to the max and stay honest. The focus of this group will be LR and RC. I'm currently scoring in the low to mid 160s and looking for a jump to the high 160s. If you're around this range and can make this commitment for the next 3 months, comment down below and I will reach out ASAP to make this happen.
Side note: For anyone concerned about time zones, I'm located in the east coast.
Hi
I’ve tried the study buddy system and most people are v flaky. Lf a accountability and study partner, twice or three times a week. Scoring in the 150+ and wanna pass 160s.
Hi everyone,
I am preparing to take the April LSAT (and most likely the June and August LSATs as well) and am interested in possibly starting a study group. My PT scores are currently in the high 150s - low 160s. I am using 7sage for drilling and working with a private tutor. My best section is LG, and I am good with LR but not so good with RC. I am still in undergrad, and I also work, so the only time I would be able to meet would be every other week. If anyone is interested, please let me know!
Looking for about 3-5 people to study mostly PT/LR. Pretty good at LG (usually only missing 1 or 2 questions) so I can give some pointers here and there but I am really interested in LR since its my weakest section. I am currently using 7sage, lsatlab, a private tutor, and free resources on the demon. I applied last cycle so I can give some advice about admissions and what test day looks like. I also can give advice on getting free/ cheap studying resources, fee waivers, and testing accommodations since we are here to get all the benefits bb!
I work fulltime so Sunday afternoon study sessions are best for me but willing to be flexible.
Really would like nice, motivated, encouraging people so we are all comfortable holding each other accountable on our studys and goals! :)
Earth to 7Sagers...
Are you looking for an easy way to find people to study with? Or do you just want a break from reviewing questions on your own?
You're in luck! Join us for our next "Study Group Breakout" on Monday, March 13th from 9:00-10:30pm ET.
Here's how it works:
Register for the Breakout no later than Sunday, March 12th.
Take PT54 Section 1 (based on 7Sage's numbering - should be an RC section) and Blind Review it, but DON'T look at the answers. I suggest you take it as a "Drill" rather than as a PrepTest! You can do this by going to the "Practice" tab and choosing "Drills," then selecting "Newer" PTs, selecting "Reading Comprehension," and scrolling to PT54 S1. You will have to individually add each passage to your drill, but hit "Create drill with 4 passages" at the bottom right when finished, and voila!
Log in to the Breakout Session at the appointed time. We will automatically place you in a group of 2-5 students with similar scores so you can review the section together.
At the end of the session, you can exchange emails and keep meeting if you enjoyed the group.

I saw a post on here where we do a chosen section from a PT, register for the study group, and then 7Sage puts us in a group with other people who did the chosen section. However, I can't find that post anymore. Does anyone know how I can find it so I can register? Thanks.

I'm working full time on Eastern Time and looking for someone in a similar boat. I'm currently PTing at 168-174 and my weak spot is Logic Games (keep getting ~ -5). Looking for someone to do untimed drills with and really get into the technique, process, and reasoning behind these. I think I do timed sections and BR better individually with LG so want to spend time doing in-depth reviews. Maybe we can each solve a game and then solve each other's games and see how we did, analyze, and discuss. I am aiming to get -0 on LG.
I am free on Tuesday evenings after 5 PM and Thursday evenings after 5 PM (EST) to do this. Let me know if there is interest!

Hello I scored a 169 on the January LSAT. I'm looking for 1 or 2 people who would be committed to Blind Reviewing 1 RC passage per day in the morning 8:30am Pacific time/ 11:30 Eastern Time. Where we could justify the answers we picked and hear each other thought processes. It's only one passage so it would be quick but I know it would be extremely helpful and would probably take Maximum 30 minutes to fully review it. I'm only looking for someone whos at in the 170 range or a little bit below it and is LEGITIMATLEY COMMITED to review and learning. My last Practice tests has been 169/169/174/172/170/171/169/174/172/173.
Anyone interested in a study group for February test?
Thinking we set up some weekly/biweekly meetings to talk through best practices etc
Hey everyone,
I have a pretty busy schedule, so I have had a lot of trouble staying consistent when it comes to studying for the LSAT. I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in forming a study/accountability group (maybe over zoom).
I am also interested in doing practice tests and blind reviews with someone on Sundays. My diagnostic was a 157.
Reply in the comments if you are interested!
Thanks.
Hi everyone. I am looking for a study buddy to do blind review together for PTs consistently. My average score is 166 currently (LG -0~2, LR -3~5, RC-4~7). I would prefer to do the tests on the basis of every three days. Let me know if you are interested.
