Hi! I am taking the January LSAT and I am currently scoring in the mid 150's the most consistently and my goal is to get atleast a 160 on the test. I'm looking for an accountability partner just so we can check in with one another to make sure we're doing what we can to stay on task leading up to the test! LMK if you're interested (:

I'm taking the January exam and have been really trying to grind but find myself getting easily distracted. I've been scoring high 150s but I'm aiming for mid 160s. If anyone is interested in being an accountability buddy let me know! I'm also down to create a GroupMe or Whatsapp group for all things LSAT and law school applications. We don't have to feel alone in this whole process :)

I’ll be taking practice test 38 today then blind reviewing.

As of now, I’ll be on until about 9/10 pm EST.

If the link doesn’t work for you, please try clicking “Watch on YouTube” or look me up on YouTube @ Efficiency Bill !

  • Starting with December 2001 (36) and working our way up to each test, with our final one as June 2003 (40)
  • No required starting score
  • To meet on Fridays & Saturdays
  • 1 PT per week
  • Sections 1 & 2 will be blind reviewed on Fridays and sections 3 & 4 will be blind reviewed on Saturdays (will take approximately 2 hours for each)
  • Please comment your interest!

My goal for this group would be for us to:

  • Take the exams under timed conditions on our own
  • Withhold our blind review of the exam designated for the week until we meet- that way we can work through more of the reasoning as a group. Throughout the blind review I will have at least one person (hopefully a different volunteer for each question- you can stick to whatever you are comfortable with/questions you feel most confident about) walk through their own reasoning. I will encourage the other members of the group to add in their own reasoning if they feel it is necessary or ask any questions. I might pose some questions if needed to help clarify your reasoning and guide you in the right direction. I will step in for the questions no one wants to volunteer for.
  • Even if you cannot attend every single session, you are still welcome!

    A bit about me:

My BR scores range from 174-180. Under timed conditions, my scores range from mid160s to low 170s. I took my first diagnostic during my sophomore year which was a 148. I didn't start studying regularly and seriously until June of this year (starting at a 153). My understanding of the exam has come a long way and would love the opportunity to lead a blind review group so we can help each other grow and achieve our dream scores! My strongest section is LG and weakest is RC. I hope we can get a good mix of scores and strengths, but please fill out the poll so people who are potentially interested can see if the group distribution will be the right fit for them.

After gathering all the info, I will send the meeting link and calendar invites to the GroupMe. Post any questions you might have in the comments!

Hi 7sagers, I'm looking for 2-3 study buddies to drill RC detail retention. This uses a drill method from LSAT Hacks website: basically we time each other when reading a passage. After reading, one person asks the other about main point of each paragraph and tests randomly selected details in the passage, such as where the details locate and purpose of the detail. Then the role alternates. This should be helpful for people who have done most passages and look for increasing RC speed/retention. This should take about 1-1.5 hour per session.

Some background info: I'm based in the UK (had a 170 from october Flex and hope to break into 175+ in Jan). If you're interested in serious studying for similar goals and trying out this RC drill, please feel free to pm me. Best of luck to everyone!

Hi, I'm currently scoring in the mid 150s with hopes of getting 165+. I have been studying here and there on and off but have been trying to get on track so I can up my score. Looking for 5-10 people who would be interested in keeping each other accountable and reviewing tests on a weekly basis and maybe sections on a daily basis. Let me know if anyone is interested!

I'm registered for January but I might cancel because I've invested over a year on my life in this LSAT to study to settle for anything less than 170. My PTs are very inconsistent; the last 3 have been 171, 154 (I damn near died) and 169. Reading comp. and LR are my issue. I can do any game you put in front of me in my sleep.

I've switched study habits and training for skill (the overkill route lol)- I can spend a good hour doing 5 questions. I'm looking for a few people who are willing to commit and ride through with me until test day. Please, only consider if you're able to devote the time.

I am not kidding. I am looking for maxiumum 3 other people who know they have the ability to reach 180 like me and will stop at nothing to reach it (or very close). I want to be hitting 177+ consistently on PTs before I even think about registering.

Group will be mainly extremely detailed and in-depth LR discussion and review and some RC too. Review 2 LR + 1 RC section/week although for this score range obviously we will probably only be looking at the most difficult questions. I spent an entire 35 minutes by myself on one LR problem today, but again, these questions are the ones that the 75% correct bar stops at 180. For people in this range I feel the time would be wasted talking about too many lower difficulty questions. I'm on pacific time.

Hi everyone! My diagnostic was a 149 and I'm at 158/159 after 2 months of really light and minimal studying but I've been hitting a plateau the last 2 tests. My goal is a 164-166 range (but obviously higher is great). I'm not planning on taking the test until April or summer so I know I'm ahead, but with a full time job this is easier. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone who is in the mid to high 150s and whose goal is mid to high 160s wants to start a study group! Idc when you plan to take the test! I'm also open to suggestions on how to best execute this like meeting virtually or just chatting, etc. If you're interested leave an email in the comments. Hope to hear from some of you :)

So I just received my university diploma in the mail and now that we are in lockdown again I have decided to start studying for the LSAT. I have never been set on law school but it has always been an idea I've toyed with. I feel like right now it is especially hard to make any long term decisions but I want to be working towards something.

Anyways, I have started the 7 Sage program, have never done a practice LSAT and am completely new to all of this. I really want to write the LSAT sometime next year I am just finding this all a little overwhelming. I am seeing a lot of people start study groups online here but are all way more advanced than me!

If anyone is in the same boat or is sharing similar sentiments and wants to encourage each other! Let me know!

Hi guys, is anyone interested in being study partners for the Jan LSAT? I took the November LSAT and got a 168 (was PTing a lot higher but oh well I'll try again!). I'm a bit rusty because I haven't studied in a while but am confident I can pull this off in Jan. I'm thinking of doing BR calls/ discussions and sharing strategies and schedules just to stay motivated, because I've been having a hard time getting back into studying and I think this is a really helpful way to stay on track

Also - I'm usually on the east coast but am currently staying with family in Asia right now (and doing the Asia LSAT flex in Jan), but can be flexible with time zones!! My time zone is 10 hours and 30 mins ahead of eastern time

    Let me know. Good luck!

    Hello everyone,

I am Poornima. I am studying law in my home country (India). I am interested in giving LSAT and study JD in US as well as get settled there.

It's my first week on 7 sage. I am following the study schedules consistently. I am interested in giving LSAT in or after May, 21. I am aiming a high score. 170 and above.

Is there any good /inspiring words for a beginner? Any do's/don'ts etc rhat I should follow as a beginner? Any words of wisdom from scholars of LSAT?

I will be glad to get guided.

    Thank you

If DJ Khaled were on the 7Sage forums, he'd look at this post and say...

All jokes aside, I'm looking to form a small study group for the Jan LSAT. No score requirement, I think it would actually be useful to have a mix (people with higher scores can reinforce what the learn by helping lower scorers). Personally, my average is now around a 172 (highest was a 176). Anyone is welcome to inquire (through DMs, please) as long as you can meet after 6:30PM EST on one or more weekday. I'd like to start out with 6 people max but may expand. Preferably, I'd like to use FaceTime for these meetings but could do Google Meet as well.

Hi y'all, I know this is potentially insane but I recently began studying for the LSAT in mid-January. I have a tutor for a couple hours a week, and do a lot better when I can talk through problems with other people. Is anyone interested in a study group/partnership to hold each other accountable? Also, ISO tips from anyone else who has studied for the LSAT in one month! Feel free to link study sessions below as well, I'm sifting through these resources now to find ones that align with what I'm looking for but don't want to miss anything!

Hi! Whoever is looking for a study group or a study partner, let me know if you're interested! I'll be taking the February LSAT. I'm averaging in the 150's right now. Some days are good, and some are bad lol. So I definitely want to be confident in only having good days

Hi, I hosted a group session last week where we went over Formal Logic in the LSAT, a new way to approach LR, and a full LR section! Thank you to everyone that showed up :)

I'm going to be hosting weekly group sessions (at least for the month of December), so this week, I hope to see you on 12/9 Wed 10PM EST. It should go on for around 1-1.5hrs, or so, and I'm going to be covering, roughly, the following topics:

  • Logic Games: A Systematic Approach
  • Taking Blind Review (and review in general!) a step further
  • Afterwards, I'll be going through an entire LR section, taking questions, and talking through my approach. If you want to follow along, please have PT21 S2 in hand.

Join the following zoom link @noon/12pm GMT+9, or 10PM EST!

    Hi everyone!

So, I am a re-taker, but have taken a few years away from the LSAT. I took it twice (little studying for the second attempt) and received a 154 both times. I'm shooting for the upper 160s-170s and would love an accountability/study buddy to keep each other accountable. I work full-time though completely remote thanks to COVID, but find most study time during the evening and/or on the weekends. If you're looking for something similar let me know!

    Best of luck to everyone!
