Hello!

Was recently diagnosed with ADHD in December of this year and I am currently studying for the LSAT using 7Sage, Loophole by Ellen Cassidy, The LSAT Trainer by Mike Kim, and The 10 Actuals LSAT PrepTests Volume V.

Would love to connect with others who have ADHD and are navigating the LSAT/7Sage material and brainstorm different study strategies + organizational strategies that are most effective for those of us with ADHD and provide mutual support.

Please let me know if you are interested!

I have completed 3 practice tests scoring mid 150s on the latest 2 and all my BR scores have been consistently around 165. There were clearly question types I needed work on which I did but after my latest practice test no pattern among wrong answers emerged. Most of my wrong answers when I do an analysis come down to the fact that I did not understand what I read. How do I improve upon this? Furthermore I'm looking to get my BR score to mid 170s before focusing on the timing of the test any tips on how to do that?

I feel like i have been getting these confused. Could someone explain the approach to solving these? I know the NA has to be true but what does that even mean I think im overthinking these questions.

Hello. I am confused about the acceptance decision timeline for law schools. Since most have rolling admissions and Deans are eager to know as early as possible who is accepting, how is this done in practical and professional terms for the applicant? Is it typical and okay to wait until the deposit deadline to reply? Are you asked to explain that you are waiting for other decisions soon after a decision is made? This is a different process from undergrad so I am hoping to understand how to handle this in a respectful way. Thanks.

Need some studying tips on a short timeline.

I’m still going through the rest of the curriculum and then intend to bang out PT tests, but I am taking the LSAT in Oct and probably again in Nov. I’m consistently getting only 2-3 correct on these drills. In reviewing my wrong answers, I fully understand where I erred, but I also don’t have the time to master each of these drill sections (at least I don't think I do).

My current mindset is to try and get through this curriculum, then bang out those PT tests since PT test do not categorize difficulty and question types. I’m worried if I spend too long on the drilling, I will lose sight that the actual tests is completely random in the questions types and difficulties that are chosen.

Any thoughts here are helpful as I orient my studying these last 1-2 months. Thank ya all and good luck.

I was reading an article published a few years ago about personal statements, and it recommended to specify the personal statement to each school you apply to. It had two examples where the authors included 2-4 sentences showing some knowledge of the school's programs and why it aligned with their personal stories/interests. (https://www.usnews.com/education/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/articles/2017-04-27/2-law-school-personal-statements-that-succeeded)

My question is, is necessary or even good advice? I haven't seen any schools recommending this on their website, and Harvard specifically states that they don't really want it (They say: "As for discussing HLS in your personal statement, we do not recommend it. The admissions team knows a lot about Harvard Law School — but we don’t know much about you quite yet."). I understand that you shouldn't make the entire statement about a certain school, but am worried that even the 2-4 sentences recommended by the US News article might be penalized.

I'd love to hear people's thoughts about this!

hey all! Looking for some guidance with my personal essay. I've been in the brainstorming phase of my essay for a while now trying to find my ending. I want to tell a story about myself that is genuine and stays with the reader. I want to write about my love of working with kids. i've done it all my life. it was my "thing" in college, serving as a camp counselor for kids with cancer. I could tell a million stories about how those kids shifted my perspective, made me listen more, etc. But i am having trouble connecting that to law. It seems like every university prompt that I read mentions "you should address your interest in law/why this makes you a good candidate" If you have any advice or have gotten over this same obstacle please lmk

Is there a huge difference between the PTs in the 130s and the PTs in the 150s? I find myself doing a lot better on the PTs in the 130s, but having a harder time with the PTs in the 150s. I feel like it's a psychological thing, and I psych myself out because of it.

I need help understanding why the correct answer choice (A) is correct for this question. I understand that all the other answer choices are terrible (leaving A as the only answer choice), but I still feel like A is too strongly stated to be a necessary assumption for the argument.

In my thinking, a necessary assumption for the argument is that the econ explanation and psychological explanation are mutually exclusive from each other. Answer choice A seems to go way beyond this and say that the econ explanation is excludes all other explanations (not just the psychological one).

What's wrong with my thought process? Thanks!

I am trying to use the download drill feature, as I want to practice while offline, but am unable to download any questions. Is there a solution for this, it was a genuinely helpful feature.

Hi all,

I took my first LSAT back in April, and after getting my score back, I realized I wanted to brush up a little more and take it again in the fall. With that, I'm scheduled to take it this Friday.

The thing is, I haven't taken a real, sit-down practice test since I was studying for my April exam. This summer, I started using 7sage and focused on getting the lessons and drilling. In terms of timing, I've been pretty good. I know it's a bad idea not to have taken any PT, but also, I'm scared to take a PT and get a bad score and feel discouraged for my real exam this week.

I guess I just need someone to second my opinion, or if anyone else is in the same boat as me, you're not alone.

Good luck to everyone taking it this month!
