So yeah, for LR, the vast majority of questions that I am missing I picked the right answer first, only to then start doubting myself, usually thinking "this answer is too easy/obvious, it HAS to be a another one" and end up picking a wrong one. Ugh, why does this keep happening? Is there a way to stop second-guessing myself???

Hi, I'm planning on taking the August LSAT and was looking for any potential advice for trying to close the gap to 170+ by then. Generally, I take practice tests 2-3 times a week, review with the 7sage explanation videos, handwrite the wrong answer journal, and typically take one or two days off every now and then to avoid burnout. Thas been my general strategy - was looking for any insight about whether it might make more sense to drill as opposed to PT, do one a day or something. Thank you!
For those who have read the loophole, should I finish the CC on 7sage before reading or integrate both. I bought The Loophole as an addition resource. I am almost done all the question types on 7sage and have about 60% left and was doing well with the questions types and picking them up really easily but now as I am reaching the last few question types I am starting to struggle a lot (Weaken and SA). I wonder if I should begin reading the loophole to help Or if I should just continue to finish the CC since I am 60% done and then once Ive gone over all the question types on 7sage and then read the loophole as supplementary material to help with my weak areas?

I'm a very visual learner/processor and the format of the RC passages on the screen is super frustrating to me. I wish there was a way you could see the passage in its entirety and the separation of paragraphs without having to scroll so much. Does anyone else struggle with this or have any recommendations?
Hi! I wanted to make a July study group for the people in the GTA who are taking their exam in August or September. Im going to make a group chat. Please reply with your snapchat or number if you're interested.
Has any one taken the LSAT in person? I hate doing it online with a passion it takes about an hour to just get the test which makes my anxiety worse. I wanted to see if it worth taking in person is it old school like with pen and pencil or do you have to take it with a computer as well?
I am having trouble printing out a full length prep test. I saw there should be a convert to PDF option, but I do not have that. Is this option no longer available?
When I do drills, I can get the question right. When I go to take practice tests, I miss a significant number of questions. Does anyone have any suggestions?
My weakest point for RC is law passages (lol). I am trying to read more law based articles so I don't burn through Passages. Does anyone have any resources for law articles that they would recommend?
I understand most law schools require two, but will accept up to four LORs. Assuming I have four different recommenders that can write me a solid recommendation, is there any downside to submitting the maximum allowed letters?
My GPA is 2.6 and my June LSAT score is a 176, 4 yrs WE. My dream school is USC. I am having trouble figuring out what to do with my ED. Is there a point to apply ED to UCI as a safer option? Would EDing USC be a waste considering my GPA? I wouldn’t mind being admitted to either school, I just want to maximize my chances.
Hello all,
I am New to the site and want to take a pretest diagnostic test. When I go to Practice tab and select the pretest option, it lists all the exams that are offered and when I click on it, it only shows the screen where I put the answers. Can someone help me get to the actual exam.
thanks :)
I want to get into the best school possible and receive as much scholarship $$$ as possible. My goal is BigLaw after graduating. Am I completely delusional? Are these goals attainable? Should I switch life tracks completely?
With the removal of logic games, i'm anticipating LSAC to make up for the difference with a harder LR section. All LSATs are hard, but what level of hard might next month's test will be?
Hi, I took PT7 offline and scored it in 7sage-- now how do I have it appear in analytics with my other tests I've taken?
Hey! I'm taking the LSAT in October and looking for some pals who might be interested meeting virtually or in person for a study group. I'm from Brooklyn, NY originally but in Pittsburgh for the summer. My girlfriend (I am also gay btw) is here for an internship and I'm chilling here and trying to study/be productive as much as possible LOL. Follow me on insta @nicoleobjects (IK profile looks sus or like a bot/scam account but I swear I'm real I just made it because my personal account is very unprofessional looking)
I am a low 150's scorer on average with most of my PT's, and have seen my fair share of lsat questions from having put in many hours already along with taking the test twice, and have noticed recently that in these PT's my highest section is always the experimental. As you may realize, this is very frustrating for me, for where I am scoring 15, 16, 17 questions right in the sections that are counted, I am almost always consistently scoring in the 20's for ONLY my experimental sections. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a reason for this pattern? I seem like I'm going crazy missing out on my highest scoring section not being counted in my score. Maybe it's just bad luck.
I have gone through all the lessons and have a probably a decent grasp of the methods and strategies of tackling the LSAT. For example, I can blind review myself into a 173+ score. However, during the test itself, I just magically forget all my knowledge. During the blind review, I often question if it was even me who did the test because the answer choice chosen was so obviously wrong. It's probably a combination of nervousness, fatigue, and pressure that makes me "lose my abilities". Any advice on how to deal with this problem?
First some context.
My top school is the law school associated with the college I went for Undergrad.
My college is also in my hometown, and I have extremely close ties to the college (I was going to football games, baseball games, and other events they've had before I could walk).
I graduated in 2022 and now live on the other side of the country working for a nonprofit.
Should my Personal Statement be how I want to go home, which is true, study law there, and all of that. Or. Focus not on my desire to go back but rather my experiences post-grad?
Thank you all!!
Perhaps the magazine has worked for you, but I find the economist to be very soft reading material and unsatisfactory for RC improvement. For a food analogy, It's like chewing Gerber baby food, when RC passages are like tough sinewy steak.
However, I will say that what seems to work for me is reading philosophy books, in particular books by Daniel dennett. I'm currently reading his book Intuition Pumps, and after reading a few chapters of it, when I do rc passes, I feel myself breezing through them. (I know he's most famous as a new atheist, but his philosophical insights are his most impressive contributions to thought in my opinion).
If you're struggling with RC give him a try. Freedom Evolves, Brainstorms, etc. He has many books from decades of writing. Also, consider that every lsat question you've ever read was written by someone who was either a philosophy PhD or in pursuit of a philosophy phd. The two subjects , LSAT and philosophy, seem to be almost the same thing. Best luck to all, keep studying!
As the title... is it in the prep tests section?
