Starting this week, our live class lineup will feature a PrepTest of the week. There will be a Proctored PT event on Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00 PM ET, followed by LR and RC Blind Review sessions on Mondays. I hope to see you there!

As part of our upcoming Free Class Day event on Monday 1/22, the Proctored PT on 1/20 will also be free.

The next Proctored PT will take place on Saturday January 13 at 1:00 PM. Here's how our Proctored PTs work:

Once you sign up, you'll receive an email from Zoom with the link to join the meeting.

Select a PT that you want to take for the proctored test. This week's recommended PT is test 70; you're encouraged to attend the associated Blind Review sessions on Monday! (LR Review | RC Review). You can take the PT through 7Sage, or- if you want to simulate real test-day conditions- you can log into LawHub and take it there.

Show up to the Zoom meeting 10 minutes before the scheduled start time (12:50 PM ET). You will all be prompted to complete a room scan (similar to the test-day security measures) at the same time and then put into a breakout room by yourself to complete the test.

Simulate the test! Our 7Sage Proctors will monitor the testing process for the duration of your test and even simulate a pesky interruption. The Proctor will ask if anyone would like to be interrupted at the beginning of the session, and you will have the chance to indicate your preference. If only the Prometric proctors would be so kind as to ask! If you have any approved accommodations, please let us know via private chat at the beginning of the session as well––you will be able to test with those.

Im scoring in the 148s really want to push to 155. Want someone, or group to study with daily till April's test.

I'm applying for the Fall 2024 cycle, and was hoping to get input / commentary on my likelihood for admissions to T14 schools and/or considerations of how schools will view my profile. Below includes my stats and backgrounds below:

3.6 GPA (GPA suffered from working 30+ hrs junior year, 3.1, to support a tragic family emergency; noted in addendum)

170 LSAT (especially difficult while working 60+ hrs per week)

First Generation College Student

6-years work experience in demanding roles (60+ hrs of management consulting and software work)

Hello I've just purchased Law hub advantage but it still says I don't have a subscription on 7sage.

Hey y'all! I had a unique issue during my Jan 2024 test, where my proctor disconnected while were doing the pre-test room check. I did the complaint, LSAC is now offering me to retest on the 23rd or to cancel the test and take it in Feb 2024.

I've never taken the test before so this is my first attempt at it, but I could really use that extra month of study time. Would there be any real negatives to me just doing that instead of retesting on the 23rd? I'd like to add, per the email I got because I was not exposed to the test, my test will be 'withdrawn' and does NOT count towards my TTL

The fourth game specifically I thought was tricky and wanted to see if there are any inferences I missed

When I applied for undergrad, there was a huge emphasis on FAFSA. My question is, do I need to apply for FAFSA for Law School? Is it necessary? Do the FAFSA requirements vary from school to school? If I missed the deadline for this cycle for FAFSA and am in Law School, can I apply during the next cycle? Besides the LSAT, LSAC, CAS and actual school applications, is there anything else I should be applying for or keeping an eye out for?

So I decided to wait until January for the LSAT. I had some pretty significant losses and struggles summer 23 and did not feel I would be ready by November. I even switched full-time jobs in November.

With that is the January LSAT too late for applications too really be considered?

Some people on the forms have talked about this admissions cycle being much slower then normal. Is that what most people are experiencing even in offers?

I have seen so much variation in opinion and I know we are not in the minds of the admissions office, but still just want to gauge general feelings on this.

Stats wise my UGPA was 3.91 (3.92 with CAS report) from a decently competitive institution. I had some technical issues in my final section of the Jan LSAT but otherwise felt really comfortable with all the questions I had.

I know we will all be super stressed until the scores are released...

Hi, I’m working on the 12 LR Drilling sections for MSS questions, and I could use some tips for Blind Review. A lot of what I have listened to makes me as if Blind Reviewing would be more effective when doing PTs. But what i’ve been doing so far is watching the explanation videos for questions I get wrong and then writing down why I get them wrong and why the right answer is right. But I still seem to miss a couple questions during each drill. Any tips?

I think I understand why D is the correct answer choice. However, I am curious as to what you guys think is the best way to approach this question? Clearly using an in an out game board is the best choice. However, this question was hard for me to answer quickly just because it felt like a question that required a lot of trial and error, which obviously didn't work out (especially time wise).

I took the lsat in november and this was my first time taking the lsat and I didn't really study that much maybe a couple of weeks. I got a 135 on the november lsat and after seeing my low lsat score I was eager to see with a couple months of studying would I make a huge jump or improvement before taking the January lsat. The test is in a couple weeks and I am overwhelmed with studying. I am a senior in college and the semester especially with midterms and finals have taken away some of my actual study time from prepping for the january lsat. I have taken a couple practice test and I still seem to be getting 135 on them and not really improving. I am at a crossroads because I wanted to see if I could get at least a 150 on this January lsat to get into this law school in my area this cycle. I feel like if it doesn't happen now I will not pursue it after I graduate this spring from undergrad. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Took 6 years to graduate (depression) will include in addendum with a 2.9 with several Ws.

Have been working two years as a legal assistant/paralegal.

What score should I be aiming for? or will my terrible undergrad stop me attending any credible law school.

Hi! I'm studying to take the LSAT in April and I was wondering if you get a breakdown of each section when you receive your score back from the LSAC.

Since the logic games section will no longer be apart of the test in August, a breakdown would be super helpful if I have to take the exam again to help me determine if I would take it again before they remove the LG section (in June) or after.

Been using it to draw LG Diagrams. I'm registered for April, so if I can't use it, better to know sooner than later so I can amend my approach. Not a huge deal imo, but it helps keeps the diagrams a bit cleaner, would probably be 1 minute slower overall without it. Thanks and let me know.

Is there anywhere we can practice just matching a given question stem for an LR question to an LR question type? I find that when I know the question type, I can approach the question in a far better way than when I do it without matching it directly to an LR type.

I'm looking for something like some flashcards or something where I am given a Qstem and need to match it to a given LR Qstem type. Example: Q -- "Which of the following most helps to justify ..." A -- Pseudo Sufficient Assumption

I was wondering if there's anyway I could improve how I've been drilling. I started doing questions around the beginning of the month and have been focusing on drilling on LR questions about 5 -10 per day. However, I feel like I've been taking these drills for far too long untimed. Usually I drill 5 questions for about 1 - 2 1/2 hours when doing them. Once I've submitted, I check answers depending on how many I got wrong which can last for up to 2 hours. Filling LR journals take another long time as well. In general, I feel like doing small increments as such eats alot of my time up for the day and feels somewhat ineffective despite trying to score consistently high. If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve drilling/studying for the LSAT, I would much appreciate it. Thx
