I've been taking my last few LSAT prep tests under the Modern version because I was curious to see what it was like, and I did not see much change in my performance compared to the legacy version.

Is there any advantages/disadvantages to testing in one format vs the other?

Hey, y'all! Question - I've been working as a legal assistant at a personal injury law firm for the last two years. Long story short, I'm taking a gap year between graduating in May and applying for law school and am looking for new opportunities to expand my knowledge in the town I'm currently in. I've submitted a few applications here and there and didn't realize for one that it was for a family law firm. My question is: Does having experience with different types of law on your resume help with admissions or success in law school in general? Advice? Thanks!

I'm studying while working full-time. I take the train to work and it's about 35 minutes both ways. Any recommendations on what I can do during this time?

I'm usually standing on a full train so writing anything is out of the question, but anything I could read or listen to that could help?

I have come to the unfortunate realisation that inidicating a future LSAT administration will render my application as "incomplete" by law schools, setting me behind on deadlines. I would like for law schools considering my application this year to use my preexisting LSAT score, and I am signed up for a later test dates in case I don't get favorable decisions and I apply next year with a better score. Is the best decision going forward for me to withdraw from future registrations? Will this make law schools consider my application as is? Thanks guys.

Hey guys,

I am so sorry to post this silly question but I would be super thankful if you give me a short answer to this.

I just really like to canvass ur opinion on this issue. Is it wrong to say that "the downside of human intelligence" or "the downside of having human intelligence" instead of the dark side of human intelligence? Does that sound awkward to u even when I am simply referring to the negative aspect of that endowment? By doing so, I am not talking about the moral perversion. For instance, by being equipped with human intelligence, one could be cunning and calculating, driven by his/her needs. This acumen could sometimes hinder us from developing any unconditional/trust-based relationship with others. Then, what was supposed to serve us positively does a disservice to our welfare against our will. Is it really improper for me to depict its negative effect without resorting to the evil genius in the realm of philosophy? What I want to say is that there could be some cumbersome issues arising from this faculty. Meanwhile, I would like to distinguish the inconveniences from the out-and-out moral failures like crime. I think there could exist some of the attributes that do not promote our well-being while they do not necessarily cross their paths with the humanity's seedy underbelly. what are ur thoughts on this? Forgive me for posing this moronic question.

I just took a PT and scored a 141 with a BR score of 162 and my previous PT being 147 with a BR score of 154 about 2 months ago. I don’t understand how I dropped so much compared to my previous PT. I am aware that timing is probably the biggest factor that’s killing my score. But I don’t understand how I dropped so much when I’ve been drilling for the past 2 months. During the LG section I could not solve one of the games (it was a miscellaneous) so I got 7 wrong there automatically because I ran out of time and I rather not guess on the questions so I don’t have a possibly inflated score. And I got 4 wrong on the other games. The RC section was brutal I got -19 and during BR brought it down to -10. I can’t seem to finish the section I can only get to 3/4. This is by far my worst section. For LR I got -13 and during BR brought it down to -5. This drop in score from a already low score of 147 to an even lower score is demoralizing and makes me questions if this is even for me. But my BR score is significantly higher than my PT score which is clearly an indication of a timing issue. I know I definitely need to work on all the sections but can anyone give me any advice on what I should do as I am planning on taking the June LSAT because LG is by far my best section. And I am completely baffled by this and don’t even know how to proceed. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Advice

Hi everyone, this is my first time doing this. I am taking the lsat in April ( and June) and I was wondering for these last couple of weeks is there any tips/advice for studying for any of the sections? What helps you all study, how do you find time studying while working and going to school? If anyone answers I would really appericate you.

Slight problem - I have a slightly long first name, and Prometric only took in the first 15 letters (including spaces) of it. Thus, my LSAT registration only has the first 15 letters of my first name and does not exactly match my ID. Has this happened to anyone before/any suggestions on who to reach out to?

To address any potential questions: I can definitely rule out my own human error, as my first name is correctly and fully entered on my LSAC profile. I also tried to add my full first name on the registration page, but unfortunately Prometric's website pulls it from LSAC and puts it in an uneditable field.

Any views appreciated - thanks!

How could a company have no creative employees yet fulfill the condition "have creative employees"? I went with C because it questions the validity of the language "is said to have" which seems like shakier reasoning than no creative employees can have creative employees.

What is the best way you all have found to study with 7sage? I usually watch a guided video then try and do a drill of the same sort. Wanted to make sure I wasn't leaving anything on the table. Any input would be awesome. Thanks everyone!

I am very confused what study schedule I should be using for the August LSAT should I be using the V2 beta or the regular study schedule because they both say different things to do per week? I am just confused how I should structure my studying because the regular one has a lot less time per week than the beta but the beta includes prep tests.

RC Help

What's up 7sage fam. I am getting my ass handed to me by RC. I meet with a tutor every week, and when we meet and go through problems together everything seems so clear and easy. The second I get by myself, it is like a bomb goes off in my head and I will consistently put up -6 or worse. Any tips that anyone could share would be great. I would take any help I can get right now.

Hi Everyone,

🔧We're actively working on resolving an issue affecting access to the Review Results of Old PrepTests (PTs 1-94) from Drills/Problem Sets/You Try. Our development team is dedicated to fixing this as soon as possible. We'll keep you posted on the progress!

In the meantime, if you need to access the Review Results of a drill using questions from Old PrepTests, you will need to switch the format of your PT to "Current (with Logic Games)". Simply head to the PrepTests page and look for the option at the top under the List PrepTests title. Check out the sample GIF below for guidance.

Stay tuned for further updates! 🛠️👀

This issue is now resolved and everyone should now be able to review the results from the Drills even if the PrepTests page is set to "August 2024 and later" format.

I work 9-5 in person tech job and have definitely not been putting in enough time with my studies. How do you guys go about working in-person, full-time, roles whilst studying? What does your study schedule look like?

Hey! I'm planning to take the LSAT in April and/or June so I can take the LSAT with logic games. I've been studying with 7Sage religiously and do daily drills with both the advanced and auto builder. However, today I went in and everything looks completely different and there is no option to drill logic games. Additionally, I can't see which drills/questions I've done (including LR and RC) as all the preptests are different now. Can 7Sage please fix this and provide a drilling option for those taking the April/June tests?

For the past four drill sets (main point section under "syllabus"), I have submitted my answers and completed blind review, only to find that the correct answers and explanations are not shown. Under the “Review Results” heading, it just says “Showing 0 to 0 of 0 entries.” It did not do this for earlier drill sets.

This makes it impossible to meaningfully work through the syllabus. Please advise.
