Memory Method

Hey 7sage community! Quick question- I don't quite understand how we're supposed to correctly practice the memory method? When do you move from phase 1 to phase 2? Is it basically like full proofing LG? Should we be repeating passages until we've mastered them?

Hi there --

I think it was recommended that we practice doing each phase 6-8 times before moving on to the next phase. This is just a recommended minimum, so feel free to do it until you've got it down. I think your fool proofing comparison is right on. When I was practicing the memory method I would often re-do passages until I could answer all of the questions right.
