Quick Question: Is it necessary to read the directions every time you repeat a game during foolproofing? I just do it to simulate everything as it would be in a real exam.

The directions often contain rules for the game (especially number of pieces, clues to the type of game board), so why not read them? The point of foolproofing is to foolproof the entire process of completing a game, not just part of it.
