RC Question types

I am trying to sink my teeth deep into RC and i am starting to realize i dont have a solid understanding of what every question type requires

Author inference questions (which view would the author most likely agree with)
Is this a MBT? Or more like an MSS?
Is the answer in the passage?

I'm interested in this answer too. I've relied a lot on The LSAT Trainer's question classification system, but haven't really related every question type to an LR category. I struggle with opinion questions in RC more than most others and would definitely appreciate some insights if strategy translates much. It seems like the easier ones are pretty cookie cutter MBT with text copied pretty exactly or a fairly obvious line of reasoning is drawn, and the difficulty gets scaled up as they move into the MSS category. The latter can really throw me for a loop, especially when they go down the analogy rabbit hole.

Not explicitly in passage. Like MSS. That's why it's called an "inference" question.
