What to put on resume?

So i am wondering exactly what softs i should put in my resume.
Example, i am a Caring Network volunteer, which entails that i run around and do favors for people who are having medical issues- its not an official position and i only do it when i am available. Should i put this down?

I'd put it in a section under Volunteer/Service. For instance, on my resume, I have 3 sections: Education (my undergrad), Prof. Experience (jobs & paid internships), and Activities & Interests (further broken down into community service, business case competitions, non-credit coursework, and personal interests)
