    I didn't and I was a bit salty about it lol. But I sent in an app and have an interview with them now.

    I think GT doesn't give out a lot as a form of yield protection - the only want those who are seriously considering GT to apply. Those who are seriously considering would be willing to pay a fee.

    But idk.

    3.8ish GPA

    I received that in the first week of September.

    Not sure if schools can see transcripts if they're on the CAS? I think they can at least see majors/minors.

    Just as applicants sometimes apply to schools for less than pure reasons, e.g., to use as leverage for scholarship negotiations, so do schools sometimes encourage long-shot candidates to apply for less than pure reasons, e.g., to yield protect.

    I requested a merit-based fee waiver and was granted one in October.
