Deferral Request

Hey guys, has anyone been successful in obtaining a deferral request and can share some advice about writing the request letter? I'm applying for personal reasons, not academic or professional ones, if that matters.

I deffered last cycle with nonbinding decision and was able to keep my scholarship. This cycle I withdrew from that school.

Just be very honest about why you've made the decision (mine was also personal) and determine
If it's binding or not. I had two schools require binding so I opted not to defer those.

Accounts Playable

I actually did not defer. I withdrew all of my apps and reapplied again from scratch. I don't know about the deferral process since I'm attending school this fall, but I had much better results compared to previous cycle.
