Problem set timing

Just started doing the questions from the problem sets. Should I use only the 1:24 time for each question to start out with? Or should I allow myself a longer time, say 2 minutes? Or not time myself at all to start out with?

If you are just starting, I think it is fine to take as much time as you want. There really is no point in rushing to try to get things right under time. You need to understand questions and underlying concepts in order to get faster. So focus on the big picture and you will eventually be doing questions in under 1:24
