Retaking the LSAT multiple times

Just wondering how people on here feel about retaking the LSAT multiple times. I know LSAC recently dropped the 3 limit rule. But does taking it more than 3 times have a drastic negative effect?

@"Middle Child referential phrase" I'll give you my two cents for whatever its worth. From what I know schools consider all your scores but take the highest one. This March I took it the third time however, I will probably be taking it again. I think if your scores keep rising from every retake, having multiple retakes wont necessarily be weighed against you, and if anything, they might even help you. I do know that if your score deviates downward more than three points from either your highest or most recent score, some if not all schools make you provide an explanation for why that deviation occurred. I hope that helps. Cheers!
