How to incorporate older exams?

Hi, I know that older exams (pre J07) differ in structure etc. How does one incorporate them into your studying? Should you treat them like real PTs but take the score with a grain of salt? Or....

I do them as timed sections and not full timed tests. Review each section immediately after completing. Don’t pay attention too much to score but to how many points you score per section.

The style, wording and structure may be different with the older tests, but the fundamentals are still there for the older tests.
