Command F

I have read that you are able to use command F on the exam. First, is this true. And second, does it help, or have they designed questions around this on the newer flex tests (if you have taken one)? #help

Yes it the function is available. Whether it helps or not is up to you. It's like the stem/stim first question... some people swear by it, and others brand you a heathen for asking about it. If it works for you, it works.

To date tests have not been "designed around" this, as they are all comprised of sections from previous tests dating as far back as 2011 if I remember correctly. LSAC has confirmed that the "find" function is good to go, so they do know people are using it. They seem to have been pretty responsive to the trends in prep strategies in the past so who knows what they might do in the future if flex sticks around. In the near term, if they were going to try to eliminate its use, the best they could do is use experimentals/undisclosed sections that don't lend themselves to word searches. But if they wanted to do that, you'd assume they'd just say the function isn't allowed to begin with, no?
