Should I write an addendum?

RC LAWYERRC LAWYER Alum Member

Hi Everyone,
So I took the August LSAT and did well, well enough to reach the top 75% in my target schools. Then I took the October LSAT and had the DREADED 4th game in the LG section that was UNBELIEVABLY hard which I think contributed to my lower score in October. Logic Games are usually my best section. My score dropped 6 points in October. Should I write an addendum for this drop or does it not matter?

No. What would you even put in an addendum? The Logic Games were hard?

I'm sorry your score dipped, but congrats on the August and good luck on your apps!

Unless you had extenuating circumstances (lost WiFi, interrupting proctor, simply a distracting/loud test environment that day) I would avoid writing an addendum. Ultimately you have a solid score on record and that should outshine the subsequently lower score. I would try not to worry about it too much, schools are going to want to boost their numbers and your august lsat should achieve that.
