Using a Desktop Comp for Flex

I've written a flex before and used my laptop, it was easy to show my environment to the proctor by lifting/moving my laptop entirely. I'm going to be writing this week's flex on a desktop with a built in camera. To experienced flex writers who have used a desktop, how did you show the proctor your environment?

I just awkwardly moved the desktop around my test positioning it up and down so the proctor could see the surroundings. I could not show below my desk but the proctor was okay with it. Overall, I had no issues.
