Did anyone notice a Sept 2016 date on the lsac website. I was just looking at registering and saw that the date after June was Sept 2016 not Oct .. wonder if it just a typo.

No not a typo. Depending on the calendar each year it can be either late September or early October. That's why you'll often see people talk about the fall LSAT if they aren't referring to a specific year (though technically the Dec. LSAT is also always in the fall).
