Speaking as a former admissions officer, there is minimal difference between applying in September right when applications go "live" or October. This is early in the recruiting cycle and members of the admissions committee have usually spent this time going to events, forums, and conducting outreach to prospective candidates. They aren't reviewing batches of applications at this point. Generally speaking, applying at any point before Thanksgiving has been considered "early" or "very early" for most all law schools. Good luck!
