If you're worried about the paper, you could print double sided OR start with 2-3 prints first and then if you see you're still not getting the game, then print more.
Most people can see what games they're struggling with right away so I'd definitely print those pages out and make it worth your while. Maybe use JY's fool proof method and tweak it to your standards. If it helps you answer the questions in the time constraints, then you're good to go.
If you have an iPad with a pencil, you can import the pdf of the games into a free app called Notability and you can then work on the iPad and erase the work on the iPad. Notability is a great app.
