For Logic Games should you usually split the gameboard or not?

    That’s a really complex question that doesn’t at all lend itself to generalities. The best I can say is that if the information you’re considering is best represented by splitting the game board, then split the game board. If the information is best represented by some other means, then don’t. That may not be very helpful, but it’s the answer. One thing I might add is a definition of “best represented.” The best representation is just the one that is going to be easier to work with. For example, I typically look to split my board on conditional rules wherever it’s practicable to do so. I find that’s a much easier way to deal with that information than to apply the rule to the game board.

    i would really suggest looking at the live session recordings of LG games with raphael! super helpful to understand splitting
