In light of history, I don't think anyone will turn grey until at least the early afternoon. Of course, I can't recommend you to or check anyway, since I'm admittedly doing the same thing myself.

well not that you guys have explained the true meaning of GREY i cant help but keep refreshing LOL

Hello, I did not read the whole thread (sorry...) but may I ask when they usually release the test score? I think officially it takes 4 weeks right? But I heard it can be released earlier too...is this why people are kind of upset?

@danielznelson , I thought it turned gray in the morning. I guess that's good. It might still be today. Still, everybody chill out, lol.

From what I've always heard primetime gray period is 3-5pm est and scores come out in waves once the icons go gray.

In June 2016 I noticed gray around 4pm and had my score in email by 4:35.

It's an anticlimactic end to days/weeks of agonizing waiting

I hope all the LSAC data entry workers are having a pizza party right now and waiting for the file to finish uploading before they have a little ceremony about how they are ensuring the future of the rule of law in our world and hitting a "GO LIVE" button and everyone gets another star for their nameplate about another LSAT survived. And then Susan who has been there for 25 years tells that story again about the time the bubble scanner misread all the As for Bs and they had to work overtime to get the test results right and out in time and everyone rolls their eyes because they've heard this so many times, but it's cool, because she's really good with the backend software.

In other words, I WANT MY DANG SCORE and it's making me a little nuts.

Actually my target score is slightly higher than 161 but for some reason my mind keeps referencing 161, which in an increased from the 153 I've had nightmares about.

Hey guys, there is actually not many seats left for the December Test. If you think you will have to retake, make sure to register before all the seats are gone. December Test is the last score accepted for most law schools.

Why doesn't LSAC just update and revise their projected score release date to keep it accurate instead of just releasing them whenever.. Lol

So just a hypothetical here, assuming your score is so high in comparison to your last score (wishful thinking) that it needs to be investigated... would your score be withheld? Has anyone had this happen to them?

This is what happens when pre-score release anxiety kicks in. You have time to come up with all kinds of crazy scenarios. Good to know, thanks.
