@AlexDivine - can you again tell us when the program will start, etc? I am still in the CC stage so just want to plan for when this study group will begin. Thx!

Shooting for the beginning of December. Although the poll shows more people favoring November, not that many people voted, and many more people PM'd me asking if we can push back to December.

Thanks, guys. @"Alex Divine" I think they have been going well so far. I am halfway through the CC and planning to start PT'ing in early December.
Have you guys started PT'ing? Where's everybody from? Where do you want to go for law school?
That's perfect! We plan to begin doing blind review groups in December.
-I've done about 4 PTs.
-From NY
-Ideally HYS or Columbia w/ $$$

Ok - I'm good with December too. Hopefully I'll be done with the CC by then. Thx.

What about you?
That's great, our schedules line up nicely then.
I am from Vancouver, Canada, and I plan to go to a Canadian law school. My goal school is UBC (University of British Columbia), but I would be happy with Queens or Western as well. Any fellow Canadians on this thread?
I am planning to take the Feb or Jun 2018 test. I need a study group. I need the accountability. I am ready to kick this test out of the ball park, once and for all.

Yassss!!! Which city are you in? Which schools do you plan to apply to?
Toronto! Primarily Ontario schools and, depending on my LSAT score, possibly a couple of US schools too (NYU and UVA/Northwestern). Might give UBC and UVic a shot too - will see.
How about you? Which schools are you applying to (besides the ones already mentioned)?
My studying is going slow. I work full time as an RN so I get studying in when I can. I bought the Kaplan book so it's very helpful. The course helped me pass my NCLEX the first time.

Welcome! I'm glad to hear you're still finding time to study with working such a demanding job!
I'll say that while Kaplan is good for many other areas of study (MCAT, GRE, GMAT, etc) they kind of suck in my opinion when it comes to the LSAT. My first LSAT book was a Kaplan LSAT (2016 ed.) I purchased for about $50 at Barnes and Noble. After going through it I don't think I actually understood anything more than I did on my diagnostic test. If you're looking for LSAT books, I'm a big fan of The LSAT Trainer by Mike Kim. It touches on every section of the test and is the highest rated LSAT book on Amazon!
If you're looking for an in-depth course that explains all the nuance and misdirection the LSAT throws at us, then I think 7Sage is the way to go. You can get a starter course for $179 bucks that includes all you need for learning the LSAT.

Mainly those three, might consider Osgoode as well. Plan to study and stay in Canada though.
Yes I plan to take them in June of 2018. I have to slowly change how I think from medical to legal which is difficult. There are a lot of commonalities though.
@lsatplaylist said: @jbodnovich, I hear you on studying going slowly. I'm in a somewhat similar position with work commitments. Happy to talk more if you want.
for sure, def gotta go slow. Ive spent upwards of a year ensuring I know the CC inside and out, memorized all the valid and invalid arguments, have a stack of CC material I go over daily for at least one hour. Now I'm about to take pt 60. I'm sitting in Feb and going to use PTs 40-59 for drilling, confidence drilling, and fool proofing, and then lsats 60-81 for full length proctored PTs. If I could figure out how to add a vid of my personal setup I would.

Has there been any decision on when we will start? Thanks!

Hey! I just made the decision to cancel December and now I'm on the June track. Count me in!
Happy to have you join us!
