Glad to see everyone again! How r y'all doing? @NotMyName that's weird your LSAT is higher than mine but you didn't get a waiver from Columbia? I thought they gave waivers based on that.
I'm pretty sure Harvard requires submission of all GRE and LSATs taken within the past five years. They don't, however, have to report a GRE for somebody with an LSAT so I don't think it matters too much.
I think traffic incidents should be listed on their apps unless schools specifically said they shouldn't be. But I've read from multiple credible sources (e.g. PS and Spivey I think) these will not be a problem. I don't have any experience with this…
@180degrees I got a waiver from Cal for two days and then they withdrew it and this has happened to other people so maybe they don't really give out merit waivers
Yea apparently they didn't update their data base: I already received a waiver upon request but they sent me one anyway. Wonder whether I can actually get some cash back:)
@aholtzer I don't think this's too meaningful. Once you have an LSAT score schools have to report it. And since GRE is still not currently used in ranking, it won't offset the influence too much.
@NotMyName That's great news! What do they ask in the form? Just your financial situations? If it's just based on that I would probably qualify too lol cause I think we're making about the same
@NotMyName Haha it's funny why do they include this line? I think my email was answered by a real person but now I'm feeling stupid for saying just "Thank you for the waiver"!
@NotMyName Congrats! Do you send them thank you emails after you get waivers from like UVA? I said thanks in the original email but am just wondering:)
I don’t think it’s an issue for the most part unless you’re talking about extremely rare cases when this might be a tie-breaker. I do somehow, however, think Yale is an exception in that they do look at the prestige of your undergrad. Dk where I got…
@eRetaker The exact same thing happened to me yesterday:) Decided that I'm not gonna stress about it because I wasn't gonna apply anyway but not that you mentioned it
@kenziem Congratulations! So glad you made it. For us 0Ls still applying to law schools. Could you give a list of the books you read prior to law school to prepare? There were some abbreviations that I didn't quite understand (e.g. LEEWS). Any tips …
