@Markmark Any idea what the Yale admissions people meant by "super soft" in regards to military service? I'm currently active duty Navy and had around a 3.6 GPA in undergrad, hoping to get into Notre Dame. Taking the…

Hey all here is an update on my current results (and I'm glad this post is helpful!)
Also some schools have specific requirements for letters of continued interest / submitting additional stuff so it's good to check. They're looking for 1. Level of…
@"selene.steelman" Hey Selene I read one of your posts about telling the school in a LOCI that you're still interested and would go if accepted from the waitlist, roughly 3 weeks before the deadline. Thanks for the wonderful help and may I dm you wi…
Something that surprises me a little is that some of these essays, like the turtle one, is really well written (in my opinion) whereas other essays have a lot of passive-voice (had done, was done) and were not really captivating or compelling.
I think there are merits to the slow, gritty hard worker and merits to the 2 month genius. The 2 month genius may have the mental hardware to be able to parse really complex concepts quickly, to read faster with the same understanding as a slower re…

Great!! I'll DM with my email.
I think you should get an email and you'll see on the front page of your LSAC account. There will be a big section describing your accommodations but you should get an e-mail first. I've heard of it taking as little as a few days.

@Markmark , @NeverGiveUp-2 summed it up perfectly. For a lot of the 1-3 level difficulty questions, you begin recognizing the underlying structure of the stimulus, which not only allows you to predict the correct AC but also …

Ooo this is a sort of contested / debated theory, but in my experience the PTs in the 70s and 80s mix up the tricks they use in LR. In more recent tests there's a big emphasis on super hard wording, weird / bad grammar, and then even more referentia…
Hm I never thought about spending too much time in BR. If you find yourself taking forever, why is it taking you forever to answer a question? Maybe it's parsing logic or verbiage / grammar or eliminating answer choices. If so you have a few things …
