Thanks for responding guys. YES, THEY INTERRUPTED DURING THE ACTUAL 35 MINUTE TIME. WE WERE ABOUT 10 MINUTES IN ON THE FIRST SECTION WHEN THEY CAME AND STARTED ASKING US IF THEY COULD WRITE DOWN THE SERIAL NUMBERS. Should I report this?
And that's the worry @licknee10 -- I'd love to aim for those very schools! Harvard updated their policy to include acceptance of the highest scores. But other policies are more ambiguous.
About that - does it really make any difference if you're an extreme splitter? Do most schools value a 3.2GPA 175 that much better than a 3.2GPA 170? I don't think I'd be getting money either way so I'm just curious from an acceptance standpoint.
Law schools care about their rankings, which are largely affected by the numbers, more than students do. They absolutely care more about a 175 than a 170.
Oh I like the number thing! The letters is good too, but for some reason the numbers will be easier for me, but then again logic games are easier for me than LR
attending law school fairs and signing mailing lists meant getting lots of fee waivers just for showing up! and, as stated, fee waivers do not imply an increased likelihood of acceptance. don't be fooled D:
I recommend Moonwalking with Einstein by Joshua Foer and A Mind for Numbers by Barbara Oakley. These books helped me better understand how people learn and how memory works.
